I am new to hair wash powders. I am an user of homemade reetha amla shikakai cleanser. First i used stamio hair cleanser then this. I am thoroughly impressed by both of them. Stamio one is more like homemade cleanser. But this one, 1) fragrance is very soothing type, it smells like saunf and karpur.2) i took one spoonful of powder like the stamio one, boiled it with a glass full of water. Kept it on rest for half an hour. It became gel like, more like comercial shampoo consistency.3) it lathered really well just like a store bought shampoo. (It really scared me)4) i applied oil (nili bringadi) both the cleansers cleared the oil in one wash.So the bottomline is i mixed the two cleansers in a glass bottle in 5:2 ratio bcs old school cleaner is required in very very less quantity. After drying up of my hair both made my hair very soft and healthy just like my homemade shampoo. Only my hair now smells divine. But the price point is extremely high. Ayurveda is our. These herbal powders are OURS. Price could easily be around 500/- but no we will have to make ayurveda inaccesible to common ppl. Hence the star cut. Bcs although I loved the product I might actually never buy it again bcs of its price.
