Not sure this would hold up in really hot weather
I returned this umbrella. The fabric was a type of vinyl that I don't like. Remember that stuff that would stick together when it gets hot? Yeah, it felt like it was that stuff. It gets really hot where I am in the summers so that won't work if it sticks together and can't open. The carry bag that it came with was decent, made out of a much stiffer vinyl, even if it was oversized.

Sounds cheap but it has been working amazingly well for me in the city. We have had su much rain and crazy weather and this umbrella ☂ has saved my outfit and hair so many times! Love it
