Yeah....I admit it. I bought this bib for myself. I'm a senior in my late sixties and though I'm a LONNGGG way from being an invalid, I do have ALOT of soreness and stiffness in my fingers which seriously hinders my hand coordination. To make matters worse, I like to read and listen to music while I eat. Rather than sit at the table I usually dine sitting in my La-Z-y boy recliner. As you might guess by the second meal of the day my clean shirt starts looking like ten miles of bad road. That's wear this bib comes in real handy. This is a pretty good product. My first impression out of the box was that it was a bit thin. But after wearing it a few times I realized the thinner material helps this product follow the contours of the body. I really like the large neck opening. Not because my neck is particularly large but because I can set the opening to allow my head to easily slip though and not have to readjust the velcro each time I use it. The poly-cotton material is also quite nice with a smooth surface that wipes relatively clean with a moistened paper towel. The checked pattern looks good and helps camouflage areas with lighter staining. Provided it's not a huge spill, the rubberized backing does help keep moisture from leaking through to your clothing. So far I'm not certain about the usefulness of the crumb catcher. In general I believe my beard probably catches more crumbs than this garment does. But in all fairness the catcher would probably work alot better if I was sitting upright in a dinning chair. At $13.49 this really is cheap insurance. This bib works quite well protecting clothing from nasty spills. I am happy with this purchase and I will definitely buy this product again.

I bought this bib for a legally blind resident in out retirement home. He's a big man, over 6 feet and bib fit him just fine. The bib attaches round the neck with Velcro making it easy to put on and take off, and is very resistant to liquids soaking through. It was worth the money.

I bought these for my father, who recently entered hospice care. Mealtimes were becoming messy so I looked for adult bibs that would be both effective and attractive. These bibs are perfect. My dad likes plaid and the colors of their fabric. They are also easy to clean. I've not tried washing them in the washing machine; I simply rinse the food drips off in the sink and hang the bibs to dry. They dry quickly. I appreciate their large size. My father is tall and the full length of the bib is just right for him. I haven't used the crumb catcher as Dad can only eat pureed foods, so no crumbs to catch. I also don't bother with the closures on the bib. As my father is bedridden, I simply tuck the shoulders of the bib behind his shoulders and the bib generally stays in place. Very happy with this purchase!

it's perfect for my mom. it's long enough to cover her lap. the only issue i have is that there is not enough velcro to close the neck area. the extra wide pocket captures the food droppings into there. since, its just first use will see how durable this will last over washes. would be nicer if there were more selections on print.

I bought this for eating breakfast in the car, and it has worked perfectly for that. One the fastener is set the size of the neck opening makes it easy to put on and take off, even while driving. It's wide enough to cover my shirt and long enough to drape into my lap. If there are crumbs there is a little pouch that catches most of them. The material is what you'd want in a bib, and the underside has a softer material--which makes it a little thicker than it needs to be in the summer heat, but that's a minor complaint. I wouldn't have minded a solid color, but it's just me driving alone eating breakfast, so who cares. Most importantly, I have clean shirt and clean pants when I get to work.

I previously purchased two of these bibs (one red plaid and one blue plaid). Loved them so much I bought 2 more! The second set will be kept inside the car. When we travel by car, we often grab drive through food and eat in the car. These bibs have saved many a shirt/top from food stains (sauces and condiments and other greasy messes). They are long enough to protect our laps and catch the “runaway” crumbs and pieces of food that always drop and get everywhere! I wash them inside a mesh laundry bag and then hang them to dry. Come out looking like new. I believe you could also choose to use a low setting on a dryer. By washing them (and using a dryer) in a mesh bag, I can prevent the velcro from attaching/pulling on other items in the wash. I also connect the velcro before I fold them after laundering. It makes is much easier to use them and keeps the velcro from randomly attaching to unwanted parts of the bib or other items.

Was pleased with the large coverage of the bib. Easily washes and dries. Easy to put on and remove, even over a bulky neck brace. Pocket at bottom to catch food. Attractive. Well made

All my life I have had the unfortunate ability to manage to drop some of whatever I am eating onto my garments. Sometimes I have made it to the very last bite when disaster struck. I believe that it is a birth-curse from a spiteful faery. Whatever the true cause, this bib is the answer when I am eating at home. It fits, stays in place, and does the job. I cannot believe the time I save by not having to use stain removers when doing the laundry. My pride has not suffered discernably. If you happen to be afflicted by the same curse, this is an affordable and easy fix. Good luck!

These bibs are great; they have a pocket to catch food from going on the floor. The pattern is masculine and cheery, and that brings comfort to wearing it. The backs of the bibs are water-resistant, so liquids do not seep through and stain the clothing. In addition, they have an adjustable velcro closure, which makes it easy to slip over the head. The bibs are washable, well-made, and of very good quality.
