This is the first brace I buy and I was very lucky it’s working well for me. I’m 5’3. 165 lbs. It gives me better balance. iI’s a bit bulky in the back when you use the back pad (I do) but that is why it provides support. The main benefit is that it prevents me from making reckless moves that would hurt my back more. I’ve been using it for more than a month. It’s sturdy. If you have extreme pain because of compressed nerves or herniated discs, let’s be honest, only surgery will help with that. Don’t buy a brace thinking it will cure a pinched nerve. Don’t be unrealistic.I wish they make it for petit girls too because my daughter liked it and she wants one for her but her back is shorter than mine. She’s about 4’8. When she tried it she said it feels good. Still I think it might bother a bit if you have a short trunk. Someone in the reviews complained about the smell but I was surprised. If you ever entered a fabric store and bought fabric by the yard, that is the smell. The smell of a fabric store is actually very pleasant to me. Anyways the odor faded by now. I’ll give it extra credit because it’s flattening my tummy and waistline.

Fits well according to US sizing. It tightens well and has stabilized my back so I could go to a store and shop. Good price for a decent back brace.

When it comes to back support, this Rakiie does the job. After buying one as a Christmas gift for president of Master Fire Suppression in the Bronx, he bought 3 more for his team of restaurant exhaust systems pros for when they're working on ventilation systems (and ductwork) which is hard because you're always climbing and bending. Does the job.

The “massage pad” is mislabeled, because it does not move and therefore does not massage. Also the aluminum support braces dig into my skin.

Once I got the right size it’s great. Ordered it 2 times first time was my fault got the wrong size. 2nd time I got the right size and it work fantastic. Very well made.

This back brace is comfortable and easy to adjust the compression. It fits nicely underneath a loose-fitting blouse or shirt.
