Its great for building with kids. They break easily if stepped on(that was on accident) We also use them for counting, math equations & organizing by colors w/ my toddler.

If I were to rate this I would probably give it a 3-4. My kids however, would give it a 10 if they could! They're easy for little hands to snap together and apart. They make fun shapes and definitely inspire creativity. They're a little more breakable than I would have expected. They work with other brands and even other sizes, which was a very pleasant surprise. I have a 7 year age range for my kids, and all of them enjoy playing with them. The box it comes in snaps shut, but it's not super secure. The sides that are supposed to snap easily fall off. It's okay for older kids, but if my younger kids try to move it in the box I can assume there will be a spill. It isn't a reason not to buy them though, just be aware you might want a different storage container for them.
