Worked!
Bought this after reading another review from a camper van owner. The steering box arm on my VW camper hasn’t been removed for nearly 50 years. This tool along with copious amounts of penetrating fluid, half a reservoir of tea, lots of patience and gentle taps with a hammer released the arm with ease. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Patience is the key though.

Perfect for VW Bay Window camper steering arm
The price was very good, delivery time reasonable in the current restrictions, and the tool is strong and did the job I bought it for, removing the steering arm from my classic Vw camper, I needed to hammer the body of the arm itself to finally loosen the splines, but after a few minutes it was off, I would recommend this puller.

Awesome product
Does exactly what it should, use an impact with it, the vibration helps.

sturdy but small - not for P6 Rover!
Solid, sturdy, looks well made. Bought for removing Rover P6 power steering drop arm, but it isn't wide enough.Jaw opening of 33mm is fine, but internal width between arms is only 60mm, needs to be 75mm to fit the Rover drop arm.

A robust tool that is up to the job
This is really well made and can take the abuse it needs to to get the drop arm off.

Did the job
Did the job on a notoriously difficult pitman arm no problem although I did heat it with a blow torch beforehand
