I like these are somewhat decorative looking as I have them hanging on my front porch. They really reflect the light/sun well. I had birds trying to nest in my shutters and these worked to deter birds from nesting. All birds stopped visiting my porch except a pair of doves. The doves had been trying to live on top of my front door top frame which they stopped doing but will now sometimes visit. They are very light weight, almost feel flimsy, so I had concerns they wouldn't hold up as its VERY windy here. Have a few months now and they are holding up great!

We have had problems with birds on our front and back covered patios. we have tried everything including motion activated Owls and nothing has worked. After reading reviews on the reflective spinners we decided to give them a try. So far it seems to have worked and eliminated birds on our patios. They were easy to assemble and had everything required to hang them. They also look great. It seems to have been a very good purchase and I would recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose these to deter woodpeckers from damaging my back patio pillars. They are very reflective and spin easily in the breeze. I particularly like that you can shorten these up or link sections in to a longer one.If reflective lights bother you don’t put these up where it hits a window though.They not only deter the woodpeckers but I hung some in the tree in my front yard and it keeps the deer out of my flower bed. And they are silent, which is important!Value for money:Great!Spinability:Excellent!

They are really pretty but did not scare the birds away and did not survive a strong wind. They probably would have been better in a less windy area.

Birds were not deterred at all. They landed right on the hook. They are very pretty but did not work for sparrows.

Although the streamers are sleek & silvery dangling from our back porch eaves, they have not stopped the birds from perching up there or staying away from that area. It is too late to return these streamers, so all I can do is hang them up anyway. I would not recommend them.
