This scent is labeled as strong, but it barely left any trace of fragrance on my clothes. I filled the dispenser to the max (instructions say to increase amount for a more fragrant wash), washed a medium load in warm water and dried on low. Some items I air dried. No scent. I would only use this as a laundry additive, personally, and not as a standalone detergent. The fragrance was too strong for me when using an amount that actually cleans clothes, so I use just a very little bit along with some free and clear detergent, and that seems to be ok. It isn't my favorite scent and does not remind me of "spring" at all. It smells like a masculine cologne. My husband thought his clothes weren't clean and still smelled like some fragrance he wore, and it is a bit strange a smell on my child's clothes when a little preschooler smells like a man who wears too much cologne. I don't know what the other reviews are talking about with the scent going away, but I also hang dry all my laundry and don't use a dryer. To me, the scent is quite powerful and lingering unless I use the tiniest few drops. It does smell pleasant if I only use a tiny bit, and I like that it comes in a recyclable tin (despite it being dented from shipping), but for the price there is no way I would purchase this again.
