Perfect for my small cafe

These, rather dainty little jugs are presumably intended for individual milk or cream shots for tea or coffee. I rather like them, but they aren't 50ml capacity but 25ml. I ordered these because when entertaining, we sometimes make an Italian ice cream dish called Affogato, which means 'drowned'. It's a couple of balls of vanilla ice cream, drowned in a shot of espresso coffee and a shot of Pedro Ximinez dark sherry. The diner pours the coffee and then the sherry onto the ice cream himself, quantity to taste thus drowning it. Up to now we have provided our guests with the sherry in a shot glass, the capacity of which is 25ml (a single shot in a bar). Now we can put the sherry in these little jugs. We would also use them for the coffee, but a single shot of espresso is about 40ml, so that isn't possible with these. Just thinking about it, 6 of these jugs of 25ml and 6 at 50ml would be perfect at least for our purposes. As to the quality, these are bright white and as advertised, made of porcelain. They are a little thicker than I would have liked, so they look a bit less dainty and a bit more chunky than is preferable, but it really doesn't make it a poor purchase. I recommend them.

Well made and good price compared to the market. They are well packaged which is important as they are porcelain. I got them for my school as a mixture of uses (staff room, arts and crafts) but also for my little one's tea set
