I’ve been using the Seasonic Focus GX-850 for about a month now and it’s been working great. I’m running it with an RTX 5080 Founders Edition, and I’ve had no issues at all so far. Installation was easy thanks to the fully modular cables, and it runs quiet and stable, even under load. It’s ATX 3.0 / PCIe 5.0 ready, so it feels like a good fit for newer GPUs. Overall, it’s been reliable and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re building a modern PC and want a solid power supply.

It really like that this power supply came with braided cables which made it easier for cable management. One of the small gripes I had with my old Seasonic Focus is that the cables were stiff but I really like that these are flexible. You can't go wrong with Seasonic, my old Seasonic is still working awesome with no issues, I had to replace it because I bought a new graphics card so I wanted to future proof my pc and not worry about meeting the minimum power requirements in the future. I have my old Seasonic for about 6 years and never had issues with it, I like that they are reliable and don't have to worry about them giving out on me while I game. The power supply was easy to install and it is really quiet, even under load. It came with all the cables I needed plus more. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a really good power supply, they are built really well and will last you a long time.

Seasonic has only been in the desktop PSU market for a few years. Before that, they were well known for their quality server PSU's, and I'd used them almost exclusively for custom-built servers (typically rackmount). When they started offering desktop power supplies, I immediately started buying them for all custom PC builds and PSU replacements. As expected, the quality is on par with their server offerings. A few years and a few dozen units later, not a single one has failed, or even developed a noisy fan. I'm finished with other brands starting with T (junk) or C (good but not great). I'm more than happy with these latest units - they come very well outfitted and packaged; include a great assortment of high quality modular cables and a useful carry bag for them.

Installed this in an NZXT dual chamber case and it was perfect. The cables were easy to manage, the installation was a breeze, and the hybrid mode makes it nice and quiet unless it has to turn on the fan. The 12VHPWR connector also seated snug into the 5070 I used, so I have no doubt it won't have melting issues.

Psu is perfect and it fits in my case too, psu fans can get loud but press the button on the psu for quite operation and it can be quiet with a humming sound which isn’t very noticeable when gaming. The psu feels high quality and nice to the touch definitely worth getting.

The cable management is excellent thanks to its modular design, allowing me to use only the necessary cables. It has been very reliable with no failures, runs cool, and is a great choice for future upgrades, especially when I upgrade my graphics card.

Not much to say about Seasonic. They have quality products. I had a 750w and upgraded to this. Its a beast for power. The connectors are easy to manage and the cables have some type of coating on them that make them easy to manipulate and feel really durable.

Great power supply. I've never had a Seasonic PS fail.
