I used this on a wall between condos. The owner could hear his neighbor snoring. I installed resilient channel, then a layer of sound board, then 1/2" drywall. That wasn't enough so I added a layer of the MLV and 5/8" quiet rock drywall. That worked! It might have been overkill but the owner can sleep in total silence now.

I used this product for soundproofing a wall. It certainly reduced the volume and I would use it again.The product arrived damaged but I didn't want to ship back a 120 pound item. Because of the heavy weight, I recommend having two people carry this into a room.I plan to purchase this product again in the future for my soundproofing needs.

We put this between our bathroom and master bedroom during a big remodel, and you can’t hear anything now through the walls. Worked even better than I expected, but it is a huge pain to install because it is extremely heavy. It took two guys and lot of effort to try and get the pieces lined up and tacked down. We didn’t use any of the goofy soundproofing adhesive in tubes and in glad we didn’t waste the money.The only thing I wish is that it was quite so expensive

This product is being used in combination with insulation and soundproof drywall the combination has reduced the drums coming from next door. Overall the products reduced drum sounds by 60-75 percent.

Product is HEAVY be prepared. Used in theater room in conjunction with 2layers of 5/8 sheet and green glue.

Great product

This was really effective for our log house. We used in our two story house on the second story floor since log house only use 2 inches thick panel to make floors.
