Wanted a reverse osmosis filter for good clean drinking water and liked the idea of a portable counter top machine. Purchased the Y10H with hot water option and have been very pleased with it. It is a very nice looking unit, seems and well built, the hot water option gets plenty hot for a cup of tea or soup. The carafe is perfect size for filling the reservoir on my Kurig and makes the coffee taste much better than tap water. I do not really have any dislikes, it looks good, quiet and easy to use. Instructions are clear, it was very well packaged for shipping, padding and double boxed from the factory. Maybe the only thing I would like to see changed would be a glass carafe. I did have an issue with an error code for temperature causing the hot water option to not work at times but customer service was excellent, fast response with good communication and they shipped me a replacement without any hassle, that is a big plus knowing they stand behind their product and won’t leave you hanging.

I have owned this for about a month and thought I would leave a review for some important information. It is a great system for completely filtered water. The clean water tastes great and absolutely no problems there.Just so you know, the pitcher does leak a little when you remove to use. I drink quite a bit of water so the water in the tank runs out pretty fast. The water tank in the back has to be filled approximately every other day. It lets you know when it needs to filled.It requires you to dump out when there is about a 1/4 of the water left in the filler tank to avoid sediment.The water tank can be pretty heavy when full for some. This is why I purchased a separate cabinet 27 inches from the floor and added my own piece of granite to avoid water damage. I knew removing and replacing the tank frequently could be a pain.It’s a lot easier when the system is lower to the floor when removing/replacing the water tank.I also purchased an automatic sea salt grinder to add minerals back into the water.other than that the system is great and so far pretty happy with it.

I got this because our water was unbelievably salty in a rental house. Ice trays would be full of salt after freezing cubes. This machine has not only DELETED the taste of the salt but it filters so much water SO fast. The water tastes fantastic and it was so easy to install. I love that it cools the water to the perfect temperature as well. I love love LOVE this. I know it’s a pretty sizeable up front investment, but it’s an amazing value for what it brings to the table. One of my best purchases for sure.

Update: after only 5 months of use, the system completely stopped working today. This was an expensive filtration machine, so the fact that it wasn’t really filtering my water and then quit working all together is upsetting and a waste of money. So again, I do not recommend this machine.After using this water filter system for a while and thinking I was drinking clean safe water, I decided to purchase a tester just to see the numbers. I was do disappointed to learn the water isn’t much better than the tap water. So I have basically been drinking tap water this whole time. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this system.

We love ours. Not only does it look nice but works great. Love the pitcher on it so we can easily fill up our Keurig machine with filtered water. Would highly recommend.
