It sucks moisture like nothing else. I bought it for my 3d printer and all other brands and models bring the moisture down to 20-30 percent. This sucked it to 5 percent.

Until now, I’d been using silica gel packs of various sizes that need to be thrown out after each use. I’m so glad I found these reusable desiccant packs—because I can’t live without moisture absorbers.I like to maintain a certain level of humidity in my space with a humidifier, but I also want to keep everything in storage dry, which can be challenging when opening and closing closets, drawers, etc. Over the years, I’ve spent quite a bit on disposable moisture absorbers (usually gel to liquid type ones). Now, I think I’ll probably save a lot of money with these reusable ones.By the way, they might be bigger than you’d expect, so make sure to check the dimensions if you plan to use them in a small drawer or something.I’ve had these for three months now, and I’m quite satisfied with their performance. For me, the cost-effectiveness is great in terms of quality—especially the performance—compared to the price.

We have a humidity problem in our house since is almost 40 years old. I have a couple of cabinets in the house I keep my guns and reloading equipment in that I need to keep dry. I used to use the old silica packs I got from shipping containers. You never know when they stop working so you just have to refresh them on a schedule.I saw these with the indicator and thought they would be nice and ordered a set. They come in sealed in airtight packs and have the blue indicator showing (dry). I took 2 packs and put in the gun cabinet and keep checking them to see if they have changed yet, but still blue after a month.What is also really nice, is that each pack has the instructions on it so you don't have to search for the box. You can see clearly the color indicator (and I'm color blind) and they instructions for recharging the pack are also written plainly right by the indicator. This is a well thought out and basically foolproof system for keeping things dry!

The wisedry will take up to 15mins total to recharge in a microwave. Of course, I love these packets!I own a few Desiccant Silica Gel in aluminum canisters. When the indicator turns pink, It takes 3 hours to recharge in an oven.Wisedry saves me up to 2hrs 45mins of my time and on my oven electric bill.
