sound like stock single coils without the hum. worth every penny
I like these a lot. Was just comparing these to stock USA strat pickups and they sound very very close to my ears but the duckbuckers do not hum. YAY. Just make sure you get the polarity right when installing with non-SD pickups. Note that these have 2 coils with 3 poles each coil, just as you can see in the pictures. So you get 2 little coils reducing hum and I'm not sure why they don't sound dark like a hot rails, cool rails ect., maybe the way they are staggered. Seymour Duncan has created a very nice product here. Strat quack and no hum.

This sounds good... but...
I really wanted to love this pickup. I own a Lil 59 that is, IMHO, the best bridge pickup you can buy for a Strat single coil slot. I put this in the neck position and you just lose too much twang with it. And it sounds great, it really does, but it's just too warm to get a good screamin' Strat sound. My #1 will have the Lil 59 in bridge and City Limits Tonerider in the middle and neck positions.
