This is a complete RC surface radio system with extra's. Unknown brand, nowhere close to the sleek designs of Spectrum & Futaba TX's but works and function like one. With a reliable 2.4 GHz connectivity & a range capability comparable to popular brand name radio system out there. More than enough channels you will need for a surface RC set up, I can't find any negative about this Radio System besides one of the battery polarity. I have several RC radio's from a simple 2ch to 14ch programable aircraft radio tx/rx and I can't see any noticeable difference in performance between my $400 pistol tx & this less than $100 radio system. I'm so glad I took a chance in this product. This cheap RC tx & rx kit defies the popular phrase "you get what you pay for" because when you buy this RC radio system, you will say "you get more than what you pay for". If you love RC's & looking for a reliable Radio system, don't want to spend a fortune plus you're not a "brand name" type of guy, take a chance on this one and you will thank me later for sure. I don't think Dumbo RC receives enough credit for their products and company. They seem to deliver consistent product at a value price. Replacement receivers are always cheap and highly compatible through the years past. Other manufacturers have zero backward compatibility and if you are to keep up with the latest you must reinvest and buy all your receivers again. Double RC also has a wide variety of products and many models to fit performance and budget needs. This particular model does not have any fancy screens, but it does have all the adjustability needed for basic usage. It also comes with three receivers, one of which has an integrated light control as well. This is a good basic remote at a good value for what you get. Being so wide compatible, it also sets you a good upgrade pass as well as your needs start to get more specific and performance oriented. You won't have to rebuy all your receivers again as you upgrade transmitters either.
