So I bought so could refill my soapstone holder but I probably didn't read the description good enough but they are smaller. My fault... On the plus side I do like that there are not to thin to break easily and not to thick to have to keep sharping alot. I like doing layouts with them.

Easy to use. It writes on metal with no problem. Still visible when metal is hot. Some minor cracks visible in some but all of them are in one piece. Works very well.

Still gonna use them they will work but wished I would have known they were not full size before I ordered them.. next time I’ll just go to harbor freight

Soapstone is soapstone but in this case its more narrow and thinner than standard soapstone. Don't recommend. Go to Harbor Freight.

"Soapstone Refills Professional Welding Chalk" That sounds like standard size that would fit my holders. Nothing to suggest it was under sized. Wish I had taken the time to read reviews. I buy 95% of everything on Amazon. Always feel I can trust Amazon to keep scams to a minimum. That trust just went down a notch or two. Not enough money to bother returning, but sure not happy. It will make me consider Walmart more, who usually has lower price.

The boxes and chalk are about half the size of a normal piece. Were keeping it cause we need it, but I won't buy in again. Very deceiving.
