Fantastic purchase
This was such a good purchase! It’s so adorable! Comes with a book that makes animal sounds and all the animals AND a carrying case. So worth the money and my grandson absolutely loves it! U will definitely buy again for my other grandchildren! Super cute and well worth the money!

Great animal size and sound book
These wild Africans animals are a great size for a toddler and are realistic. My grandson loves them and lined them all up. He also loves the animal sounds book—this package came with both—so reasonably priced it’s a deal. Highly recommend!

Great kid-appeal
I have to admit the book that comes with this set went AWOL shortly after my niece opened the box. But the animals have stayed in heavy rotation as components of her play--they drink tea, they scale the heights of her princess tent, they become dolls for her dolls, and so on. The color and detail are much better on these figurines than most of the ones I've seen in gift shops at zoos and parks.

Perfect set for a wild animal loving kid! Animals are good size and very realistic, the book is just an added bonus with the animal sounds and fun facts!

Book doesn't make animal sounds
I love the animals. The sounds for the book didn't work. They suggested I take the book apart and look at wiring. It's brand new. Tried batteries. Still nothing. I just want a book that works.

Serious Error in the Book + Poor Design Choices
The animal figures themselves are okay—some paint jobs are messy, but nothing too surprising. The biggest issue is the book calling a gorilla a chimpanzee. That’s a major mistake, especially in an educational toy. If you're going to teach kids about animals, you have to get the basics right.The storage box is also frustrating. It’s not easy to use, even for an adult. Definitely not kid-friendly.Between the factual error and the poor design, I can't recommend this toy.
