The tool made the process much easier I simply positioned it in front of the bracket and the ligature snapped on smoothly. The only part that was slightly challenging was reaching the molars, but that was mainly because I didn’t have a mouth opener, so I improvised with my hands. Other than that, the product worked exactly as described. The ligatures are strong, easy to apply, and come in a great variety of colors. Overall, very satisfied and would definitely recommend.🫶🏼

After having two of my bands come off of my bracket while eating, I decided to give replacing them at home a try instead of heading to the orthodontist every time. These have held up and come with a lot of colors. I will say the tool that comes with it is not user friendly, it feels cheap and I had issues with it clamping onto my bracket.

The tool works great and lots of band options. My daughter has clear braces and I sent her to school with baby carrots which stained her clear bands bright yellow. I was able to change them before her next appointment. It took me awhile since I’m not an orthodontist but we changed the top to a very pale pink and they look amazing! Now she can go back to school feeling confident.

The orthodontic ligature ties kit comes with a great variety of colors, which is a nice feature if you're looking for options. The 1040 multi-color rubber bands work well and are exactly as expected. However, the handheld applicator feels cheaply made, and I had some trouble with it not being as sturdy as I’d hoped. The rest of the set seems fine, and the rubber bands hold up well during use. Overall, while the product works, the quality of the applicator could definitely be improved.

Bought this to fix a missing bracket band the dentists forgot to put back on after doing some work on one of my daughter’s teeth. I can’t stand calling the orthodontist office to get a bad band fixed only to be told see you in two weeks, or we only have one appointment spot open to do that and of course it’s during the most inconvenient hour of the day, like school pick up for your other kids. Bought this, it works, fixed the problem and no extra errands. There is a small learning curve to using it but you’ll figure everything out pretty quickly. The bands are slightly thinner/smaller than the ones used at our orthodontist, once they’re on you don’t really see much of them poking out over the metal. Don’t get me wrong they do the job and hold everything in place, but if your thought is I’m going to color coordinate band colors with my outfits, change colors all the time or something like unto that you might be a bit disappointed. Of course bracket sizes may differ from one office to the next, this was just our experience.
