Great stuff, cheap easy to fit works perfectly well.
edit Nah don't bother after a while it starts to come off and fluff up your sausages when you take off the lid. Probably the heat over time destroys it. then you have to take it all off and some is falling off & some still stuck fast. Turns into a real pain. Just try to work out how your bbq works and live with it is my advice after a couple of years. Great stuff, cleaned the Weber 57cm lid rim with meths 5 mins. Stuck this on very easily 5mins. Left for a day but it seemed fairly good instantly. This sealed my smoky lid completely , (it may have been dropped a bit, ahem). So now I can shut all vents and coals go out like it’s a brand new Weber. I even have to increase the fuel to get the heat because the air doesn’t leak in anymore. It doesn’t burn more just the vent positions I got used to with old leaky lid now don’t provide same heat. I save a lot of fuel as I can extinguish and reuse next time which old leaky lid didn’t allow. So great buy to reinvigorate a leaky bbq. Also helps regulate temp for low and slow long bbq sessions for roasts etc. Really pleased with product and helps bbq cooking with more certainty for summer entertainment.

Great value and it works!
Was suspicious about how this would fit bits it's easy to fit and makes the grill feel like new again. I couldn't get my grill to maintain temperature and couldn't get it very hot. I've fitted this and now it's as good as new. Make sure to remove the previous gasket fully, give it a light sanding to ensure a good surface and you're away!

Does the job
Difficult to remove the backing without destroying it, but the instructions show you how to do it (score across with a sharp knife). Once you've done that it's easy to apply and does the job well.

Good quality and easy to use.
I looked a various different options for my Kamado Joe Jr. My larger Kamado has a wire mesh and I thought to maybe go that way with this but they are terribly expensive for what they are. The value for money of this one is what caught my eye. Once received it was very easy to use. I scraped the existing gasket that was left off the Kamado and then wiped down with some white spirit. This was easy to cut and apply, I left it for 24hrs and then I was back to decent temperature control due to being air tight around the lid. Overall very good quality for the money. I bought this about f-5 months ago now and it is still going strong and has coped with high heat cooks.

Very happy with this product
Very good product. Highly recommended. Sticks very well as long as the surface is prepared correctly. I washed with hot soapy water and then wiped with isopropyl alcohol. The resulting seal is excellent with little or no smoke getting through.

Not the best
These gaskets are good but not great. I've been using them on a Kamado kettle smoker, and after about a year, they’ve started to peel off. To give you an idea of the preparation I did before applying them: I first cleaned all the surfaces with hot soapy water to remove as much grease and residue as possible. After that, I used white spirit to remove any excess dirt, air dry the surfaces and ensure there was no remaining residue. Finally, I applied the gasket and left it 24 hrs

Excellent and worth the money
Replaced the original felt seal rings on a Kamado Classic with this gasket and it is a big improvement. First thing I noticed was that the kamado came to temperature a lot quicker and held there with minimum effort on my part. The gasket is thicker, provides a much more efficient seal, makes the closing of the lid more comfortable (and quieter) and I expect it to last a lot longer. Unlike the cheaper thin, felt seals, this one comes with heat-proof jointing tape to seal the ends of the gasket when you install it. It is a little thing but obviously adds to a complete seal. All in all, worth the additional cost for a longer lasting better product.

Good product
Has sealed the edges of my Offset Smoker and helped contain more of the heat and smoke that was escaping from gaps. Improves the cooking. Good item.
