My 4 years old granddaughter has ballet lessons and was desperate to have this ballerina Polly Pocket so, remembering how much daughter loved hers in the late 80s, I bought this one as part of her birthday present. My daughter’s was a little pink heart, and I seem the remember that Polly had movable limbs.My granddaughter was very excited to receive this gift, but I have to admit that it disappointed me. The interior of the case is pleasant enough, but the opening bits are very difficult for little fingers to open. Also the tiny, one piece, dolls are far smaller than I imagined - and the limbs cannot be bent or moved to enable them to sit in the chairs, or horse cart. Who ever saw a straight person lying at 45 degrees in a cart or armchair? Even if the dolls bent at the hip it would have been acceptable to me.I have to confess, I didn’t watch the video, or read the full description. I just knew that my granddaughter (and my daughter) wanted a ballerina Polly Pocket. I don’t know which doll is Polly, and I don’t know where the horse and car fit in. I was also disappointed that both dolls are wearing boots. I would have expected them, or one of them at least, to be wearing BALLET SHOES. Still, it’s not about what I would have wanted, or expected (I won’t hurry to buy more). My granddaughter likes it, and that’s all that matters.
