Einhell Cordless Strimmer with Battery and Charger 18V Power X-Change, 24cm Cutting Width, Lightweight Grass Trimmer and Lawn Edger, Includes 20 x Blades GE-CT 18 Li Garden Strimmer

Bought this little strimmer because I had to mow CAREFULLY between my newly planted hedge trees (2 years in the ground). The work was arduous (I am not that fit!!) but the strimmer was light weight and manouverable and managed to mow through LONG grass, thistles, docks... and I only accidentally cut down one tree (Oooops). Batteries don't last that long - I bought 2 bigger spares - and the little red blades also wear out- I used all the blades that came with the strimmer and about 10 more, but I cut 180m of hedge weeds and grass and the strimmer did a good job...

I have arthritis and couldn't use my old heavy strimmer so this lightweight one from Einhell is perfect for me in my domestic garden. I has easily replaceable plastic blades and with me also having an Einhell scarifier and battery run seed distributer I can interchange the batteries. Very pleased with the product.

Decent for the price. Decided to buy this strimmer after reading several good reviews about it. After using it, I find it's pretty good considering the price and the fact it's a cordless strimmer. It's quite light and feels pretty well built. However the only issue I have is that it can't really handle anything more than light thin grass and weeds, maybe a double bladed head would solve this. All in all though decent strimmer for the price you pay

This is a great trimmer for the price. I've had it for 4 or 5 months before leaving a review. Its easy to put together and the battery arrived part charged so it was usable straight out of the box. Its fairly light and easily adjustable for height and you can change the angle of the head. It uses plastic cutters not the usual real of nylon chord that you get with most now. The plastic cutters make a huge difference and I have used the trimmer on an extremely overgrown garden and other than really think stems of brambles and ivy it went through everything else with ease. I really highly recommend this strimmer

There's a problem with this Einhell Cordless GE-CT 18 Li Garden Strimmer. It's not the battery; I put that on charge after delivery and it took around 45 minutes to get to full power from virtually empty and it slots into the strimmer well. On first use, it seems to last quite a long time. It's not the weight; the strimmer seems to be evenly balanced. It's not the adjustable handle or pole; I can slide them into a position that suits me comfortably. It's not the safety catch or trigger; they are both responsive. It's not the flower guard; I've not used it yet but I can slide it in and out quite freely. The problem is the plastic blades. They disconnect from the little spindle at every opportunity and fly away, even though I make sure they are clicked in tight as shown in the operating instructions and videos I have seen on YouTube. Initially, after less than two minutes, I thought I'd caught the first blade on a thick stem or a concrete area and it had worn away suddenly. I checked where I had been strimming. No thick branches, stems or concrete; nothing that would kill a plastic blade. So, I removed the battery while I put a replacement blade on. Less than five minutes later, I was aware that the second blade had gone; the motor seems to rev up when it doesn't have a plastic blade in situ. This time, however, I spotted the plastic red blade lying on the grass a short way away from where I was and it was intact. I went back to where I lost the first blade and looked in the slightly grown grass on the edge of the lawn. And there it was, intact, in amongst a growth similar to which someone on YT had easily strimmed using an Einhell Cordless GE-CT 18 Li Garden Strimmer, just like this one. So, what's going on? There's definitely a fault with the blades or the spindle if they keep detaching themselves from the machine without hitting any hard or thick stuff. Yes, it was a relief that I found the two blades and that they hadn't suddenly worn away, as this machine could suddenly get much more expensive if I have to keep paying out for more plastic blades every ten minutes. I am now in a quandary... do I send this machine back to Amazon for a full refund or do I persevere with it and its flying blades? I need a decent strimmer. This is so very nearly a decent strimmer. But the plastic blades let it down. I think I will continue to use it (for now) and hope that the plastic blades problem cures itself, although I won't hold my breath in the meantime for that miracle to happen.

Fantastic strimmer well worth the money.

Used for the first time I got this as my old Bosch one the battery wouldn’t charge and replacement batteries didn’t fit. Bosch don’t seem to do the blade strimmers anymore so tried this brand which I haven’t heard of before. Really impressed it charged quickly and I could strim two lawns. Also the blades were great I didn’t even get through one blade. Blade strimmers are so much better than wire ones so easy to change the blade, no having to stop because the wire broke or came unravelled. I would definitely recommend this strimmer so glad I bought it makes doing the lawn edges so much easier.

Liked the ease of assemby , 5 mins it was together . Not a featherweight , but would not do the work asked of it if it was . Battery lasted about 55mins which was more than adaquate for my needs . 1 hr recharge from discharge , so time for a cuppa before starting again . Price is what I would expect to pay for this grunt . More HD Trimmers out ther but about double the price ? Pleased with this purhase and have no regrets .

Muy buen trabajo. Estaba harto de cambiar los malditos hilos de las cortabordes. Este sistema de cuchilla de plástico en mucho más comodo de reponer cuando se gasta. Eso si se gasta rápido y hay que cogerle el truquillo para que dure pero para cosas pequeñas es ideal Me gusta
