Best ginger chew
Great seller BTW! You get three 4.4 ounce packages of chewing joy for a very reasonable price.I’ve been eating Ting Ting brand ginger chews for many years. Recently it’s become hard to find locally so I ordered from Amazon. These chews have remained consistent in flavor, size, & general quality for as long as I’ve bought them, and every time I’ve tried a different brand I’ve been very disappointed. If you have a sore throat, upset tummy, or just want a refreshing treat, eat a chew or two. They are hot & spicy, so there’s no room for wimpy taste buds 😏

Best Ginger Candy!
First, I should say that I'm mostly a fan of crystallized (sugar-dried/cured) ginger, not ginger candies. This is the first, and as of this writing, only ginger candy I would care to eat. Why? It's sugar, ginger, and a bit of tapioca starch to prevent clumping, and you can TASTE that. The texture fantastic: chewy, but it softens quickly in the mouth so you won't lose fillings. Unlike any ginger candy I've had, this actually tastes like ginger, and not just any ginger, but really high quality ginger. There is pleasant heat to it, but it's not just sugar and blazing fire. To someone who eats crystallized ginger, this is a nice treat and you'll recognize the ginger immediately. For someone who is a fan of ginger snaps and bread, you'll enjoy this too without being blown away by heat or sweetness. What I think stands out above all, is that the taste evolves from an early soft heat, to a light ginger taste, into a deep ginger flavor that you only get from the best ginger snaps. The difference is that the taste keeps going, and the heat stays pleasant, never overwhelming. I LOVE this candy, and there is one other big deal for me; it eases nausea (motion sickness) like fresh ginger I've eaten. Whatever cooking goes into making this candy, the gingerol and other goodies that make ginger taste AND helpful are still there. I bought one bag here just to try... I'm buying the multi-pack next time, by which I mean today. One note: if you want a ginger FLAVORED candy without ginger's heat and full taste... this is not for you. If you hate any kind of heat then this is not for you, but it's not a punishing heat. If you enjoy a delicious mellow heat and the subtle flavor of the best ginger snaps that lasts a shockingly long time after the candy is gone, this IS for you. If you want something to give you that ginger experience, but you need to curb the amount of crystallized ginger you're eating (tasty, but it's high calorie) this is DEFINITELY for you!!! This is a deeply satisfying treat that I wouldn't replace having tried it. Really, I can't recommend this enough.

Close enough to Ginger People Gin Gins to be the more compelling product for value seekers
2nd time around: I'm still content with a #1 rating for Ting Ting Jahe Chews, though the #1 rating for Ginger People's Chew Chews is just a trifle higher. Here are the differences:1. Ginger People chews are nearly twice the size of Ting Tings.2. Ginger People chews are initially a hard candy that is soon broken down to a nice chewy texture. Ting Tings are soft and chewy from the first bite.3. Ginger People chews are hot from the first bite. Ting Ting Jahe Ginger is slower in bringing on the heat. The user is unlikely to experience it until the 2nd piece of candy. Conclusion: You will get more chews for your money with Ting Ting Jahe, but they're likely to go as fast as the smaller package of Ginger People chews. For individuals who are new, and perhaps hesitant to try, the taste of hot ginger, Ting Ting Jahe candy is likely to be the more enticing introduction. To the converted, on the other hand, Ginger People's chews still take the prize.Original Review:Ginger People Gin Gins are almost twice as expensive as Ting Ting ginger candy, and to some degree they justify their cost. Gin Gin's exhibit superior production values--from the wrappers to the sugary powder coating each piece. But when it comes to texture ("chewiness") and taste (authentic "burn") the two candies are close enough to make Ting Ting Jahe, which offers almost twice the number of pieces for the same price as Gin Gins, the more compelling value. The burn of Ting Ting chews is not as immediately felt as that of Gin Gins, but once noticed it offers satisfaction comparable to the hot spiciness of Gin Gins. Of course, it's always possible to have too much of a good thing, especially where sugar is a concern. So there may be good reason for calorie-conscious consumers to spend the extra for Gin Gins. Sometimes less is more, especially when the extra cost for fewer pieces can be rationalized as the expense of buying a marginally upscale product.

No Refund Required!
Great product! Quick shipping!I am told that a refund is being processed. Why?The delivery took place last Wednesday. The driver was professional and friendly. The product was well-packaged and in excellent condition. Tasty, too!I think this refund is a mistake.I can't keep the merchant's money under these circumstances.Do with it what needs to be done.Vaya con Dios - Steve Armstrong
