These stands do the job OK, but I would be cautious about using them for larger speakers. I currently use one with my Bose S1 small speaker for solo gigs and it's fine. The other one has been used for a lighting bar with my full band.However, it didn't take long for the bolts on the legs to work loose and in one case to be lost. I was able to replace with a similar size nut and bolt from my shed, but it rreally shouldn't happen. On better quality stands that weuse for speakers in the band, it's noticeable that they simply use longer bolts; so whilst the nuts can work loose, they cannot physically fall off.So you get what you pay for - if you have small PA speakers to mount, they are fine - just check and re-tighten the nuts and bolts regularly. If you want anything more robust, it is worth paying a bit more

For the price they are very good value. Perfect for the job I want them for, occasional speaker stand for 15" PA speaker or as lighting or AV monitor stands. I wouldn't pay £30 or £40 for them but at £16 a pair they are a no brainer and good for a backup or the odd job if nothing else.

These stands are a steal at this price.Strong, sturdy and well made fromtubular steel. Well impressed.

These stands hold still - i use them as adjustable "legs" for a table top and so far have proven strong! Amazing price too!

Bought these on a friends advice. Actually built a sculpture stand with one of them with a custom built lazy suzan rockler bearing and some ply. Turned out great and at a minute fraction of a tirantis stand costing around £500.

For the price you can't ask for more. These are great for some budget stands. I will recommand them for any beginner and not only.
