Our favourite game!!
Love this game so much! You can do local co-op so you can play with someone at home. My husband and I have had so much fun playing this together. It is packed full of different stories that have had us laughing out loud and levels that have had us on the edge of our seats. I seriously couldn't recommend it more. 10/10!!!

Astonishingly compelling game for two!
Two aspiring teenage writers find themselves trapped together in a virtual world where the stories they have written are played out. The pair must work together to find a way out. An excellent game for myself (an aging gamer from the 80's) and my daughter. Great sense of humour, on-the-fly solvable collaborative puzzles and a decent story put this vey high on my list of favourite games ever. Will definitely play it again when my daughter goes back to Uni. If there is a down side to the game, there are a few parts where internet based play (rather than local based split screen) had just enough lag to make some parts very difficult but, with a bit of perceverance, we got through them eventually. The level of imagination used to stitch this together and, especially towards the end of the game, blend these worlds is gaw-droppingly incredible. I look forward to whatever Hazelight Studios come up with next. Just to be clear, only one of you needs to own this game to play it as a twosome (but only the owner gets the trophies!). Stunning game.

Inventive gameplay - perfect co-op experience!
Super creative and imaginative game. Really is a whistle stop tour of all the styles of games in time gone by but packaged in quality gameplay. Amazing to be able to play a couch co-op when everything is usually online. The dialogue is a little bit ‘lame’ but on the whole a really fun co-op experience.

Great game, sad we finished it
This is a great, challenging and fun game to play with friends, family and loved ones. Me and my partner played "It takes two" and were excited waiting for this game to be released. We were not disappointed. I loved that this game fully immersed us into the plot, the environments and the characters personalities. The game has a lot of humour, just like "It Takes Two". The game could be a good challenge for younger audiences or people who are not used to playing games. However, the puzzles can be quite frustrating and can test your patience quite a bit. I think the puzzles and trials are more advanced than in "It Takes Two". I was sad when we finished it. I wanted more! We will be keeping an eye out for the next game made by this studio to see if its similar to this one and we will definitely give it a go.

Just WOW
The first game from the studio is my favorite one, but I have to say the leveling up their games have game after game is insane. After finishing the game my husband and I thought exactly, this is the studio finest work so far. First things first, the game It's funny as hell. The mechanics feel fresh and dynamic the entire game and it's impossible to get bored because you are always doing something new. Everything is so well design that you barely need to tell player 2 what to do, it's just intuitive, but I have to say we are senior players. So if anyone with less experience plays dont worry, the game does a magnificent job with simple but fun mechanics. The difficulty is well done and it's not easy or difficult, it's perfect, and doing it together is really rewarding. The amount of creativity the game has is amazing, feels like they have a bunch of ideas and wanted all of them inside, and it worls marvellous with the game theme. I don't want to say anything more because if you go without any media noise or detailed opinions you'll have it all. A great candidate for GOTY if not GOTY itself.

Amazing Co-Op adventure
Spectacular experience and quite a ride, although rather than a rollercoaster, this is a whole theme park. With the theme being Sci-Fi Vs Fantasy, you're being taken across varied array of beautiful and colorful set pieces of non-stop action, platforming and environmental puzzles. With gameplay gimmicks constantly switching just as the environment does. Sometimes you're riding dragons, sometimes you're in a high-octane chase sequence... Switching gravity around skyscrapers, transforming into animals, flying in an ironman suit, slinging spells, dodging lasers... You don't have time to be bored. The gameplay, controls, design and direction of the stages. It's masterful work. You can really tell that the developers know what they're doing when crafting couch co-op adventures. If there's anything to complain... The Story and characters are easily the weakest part of the game. It's a story about novice writers literally exploring their underbaked scripts and ideas, but outside of the purposefully bad writing and tropes they encounter, the actual plot and character writing are just marginally better. Nothing exemplifying it more than the antagonist, which is so nonsensical and cartoonishly evil (in addition to being a very thinly veiled allegory on issues with Generative AI,) that it's basically a Saturday morning cartoon from 80's. However, it's not that big of a deal. The star of this game is the actual gameplay, story is for the most part just a vehicle providing opportunity for many diverse set pieces, gameplay ideas and referential jokes (both in terms of narrative tropes, and video game ones.) Sure, it would be amazing if on top of all that amazing level design already in the game, the story would also be a genuine tearjerker... But it doesn't NEED to be it. A little bit of camp is perfectly fine, it does the job well enough, and it isn't distracting from the main focus. The game is not perfect, but honestly, despite those flaws it was one of the most fun experiences I had this whole year. Given... This is a strictly co-op game, so your personal experience may vary depending on who you'll go on the adventure with.

This game comes in CD form, so make sure you have a CD slot first! It was exactly what I was looking for, as I wanted the CD. Game is great overall, the disc was delivered fast and had no issues at installation. Would recommend!
