Govee makes an excellent product. These temperature sensors are excellent and I actually use them quite a bit. I am an engineer, specializing in thermodynamics and refrigeration. I’m a temperature sensor junkie and these work really well. Just stick them on something in the shade and they do well. Do not stick them in the sun as they do heat up and the temperature is thrown off. Very accurate according to my Scientific thermometers. I get about a year life out of a good alkaline battery, not the cheap ones that are in it. Sometimes I have a little problem, connecting them and basically just have to start over.

So far I love these. Got one to monitor and log the crawlspace, one outside, and one inside. I love that I can add more as well. I'm thinking of adding one to track the attic, and then fridge/freezer (and I tested and they were able to work inside my fridge and freezer and reach the wifi bridge. I've got mine in the extended battery mode so I'll be interested to see how they do. I set an alarm for crawlspace humidity and it was able to alert me even when I was away from home. This will be nice for validating that my dehumidifier down there is keeping things suitably dry or if it's having trouble without having to crawl down there too often other than to service dehum once in a while.

I was enjoying this device with my three sensors spaced out around my property until today when I tried to set it up on my tablet. Most of my home connectivity apps just require me to login and then I have all of the settings available for my account but this doesn't work that way. I downloaded the app and then there was no login so it asked me to add a device, I added my control center thing that is plugged in my house, but then it wanted me to pair all of the sensors again!!!!! That is ridiculous! So now I am supposed to go out on my property and get all of the sensors, bring them to the house to pair them again, and then put them back out around my property???? That is for the birds, wast of money. Once they are paired they should remain paired and I should have an account that brings them all up on any device! NOT only that, when I went to view them on my original device (my phone) now THEY ARE ALL GONE!!! SO DUMB. I do not have time to read instructions and go through all of the setup all over again. Now they are completely useless.

Awesome product, connects to devices easy and was easy to figure it all out and download the app.
