I am updating my original review because Steamery completely turned my experience around. Initially, I loved the Pilo 2—it has a beautiful design and works better than any other fabric shaver I’ve tried, leaving my clothes looking fresh and refined. Unfortunately, my first unit experienced a battery issue. However, their customer service team reached out to me, handled the situation professionally, and very quickly shipped me a brand-new replacement in a sleek black color. Running a business and a busy household, I really appreciate when a company respects my time and stands behind their product. The replacement works flawlessly. Highly recommend!

This was a disappointing purchase. When it was new, it was tricky to use but it got the job done. The chamber filled up with the shavings quickly, so to treat one sweater, I had to stop several times to awkwardly clean out the chamber and get all the fuzz out of the blades. But then after a year, it stopped working completely because it wouldn't charge up. I plug it in, and the light doesn't go on. If I press the button, the motor springs to life for one second, but then dies, even if it's plugged in. I reported this to the company, and because I was passed the one-year warranty period, they wouldn't do anything except give me a coupon to buy a brand new device. I think $65 is too much to spend on a device that only works for a year, and now I'll be sending mine to the landfill, which makes me sad.

I’ve used this on just about everything I own—from T-shirts and joggers to two of my bed blankets—and it continues to impress me. The smaller, lightweight design makes it perfect for quick, precise maintenance rather than deep overhaul. It glides quietly and removes surface lint and fuzz without pulling or damaging the weave. It performs best on lighter fabrics or smaller items—sweaters, shirts, and pillow covers—but still manages to refresh heavier textiles if you’re patient. If you use it for a deeper clean on thicker fabrics, the blades will clog faster, which means you’ll need to open and clean the chamber sooner than expected. Thankfully, popping the top off and clearing the blades is straightforward, just a bit cumbersome if you’re in a rhythm. The battery life is surprisingly strong—even after an hour of continuous use, it still maintains full power and consistent performance. If it ever feels like it “should” be doing more than what you’re seeing, that’s usually your cue to clean the blades before proceeding. I was looking to upgrade/modernize from my old Conair shaver. My Conair one was big, heavy and needed batteries. And I also didn’t trust it on my Lululemon aligns (some are several years old) and hold tight shirts (that are prone to pills). After doing a lot of research about shaver that are good for delicates I chose this one. I don’t use it a ton, but I’ve been very happy with it. I’ve been able to de-pill my aligns and hold tights without damaging the fabric. I have small hands and it fits in my hand nicely. The relatively light weight allows me to choose how much pressure to use to de-pill without damaging the fabric. A few minutes and my items look so much better! I’ve used it on some well-loved sweaters am thrilled to give them new life! It charges pretty quickly and is easy to clean. It doesn’t have a huge capacity so it isn’t really something you would want to use for furniture or a very large sweater that is very pilled. Most of my items just have some patches and so I am able to do multiple items before emptying it. Overall it is well made and worth spending a bit more money on compared to other ones on Amazon.

This is a fabulously helpful tool that has successfully de-pilled a whole array of sweaters, including my fancy cashmere ones and my sturdy Aran knits. My tiniest criticism is that I found the instructions on opening the piller to empty it were a little sparse. I did struggle to put it back together until I realized it needed to be upside down and then it screwed back together easily

In less than two months, this thing has died. I used it twice with no problems but the third time, it was dead. I charged it using two different outlets, but it's maintaining only a weak charge. When you push down on the device to trim fuzz, it stops working. It wasn't cheap and it's already past the return deadline. What a disappointment from a device that was highly recommended when purchased.

This is an effective tool. It does what it says it will. The instructions for use and care are woefully inadequate. After struggling to get the product up and running a second time customer service advised me to take the same steps I told them I had already taken and outlined in my request for help. Incredibly frustrating and unhelpful. After numerous attempts and online research I got the device working again. All this said, I like the tool. I don’t like how often it needs to be emptied and cleaned or how the blade holder falls out of the tool. This flimsiness makes me feel the tool is overpriced.

Excellent résultat sur des pulls dont les bouloches ne sont pas trop grosses. Une amélioration de cet appareil pourrait être de donner en supplément une seconde grille pour l'appareil. Celle-ci disposerait de trous plus grands afin d'être vraiment efficace avec des grosses bouloches. Batterie de très bonne qualité correspondant à ce qui est décrit dans les explications via le site.

Marche très bien. Il faut juste le vider souvent sinon il ne fonctionne plus correctement

Nach dem ersten Laden des Akkus hab ich direkt die erste Strickjacke bearbeitet. Gerät ist schön leise. Leider war der Akku bei meinem Gerät einfach von schlechter Qulität. Er hat nicht einmal eine Jacke geschafft und ließ sich auch nicht mehr so laden. Jedenfalls ging das Gerät dann noch vor Ende der ersten Jacke gar nicht mehr an. Ich muss es zurückschicken. Das Etikett bekam ich über den amazon Bot. Leider gibt es Probleme beim Rauslösen und Drucken. In Summe für den Preis unerfreulich.. Aber hoffentlich ein Einzelfall.

Der Artikel ist defekt angekommen… Nun ein Problem es zurückzuschicken… Verkäufer will ein Foto oder Video für den Hersteller… versenden dieser nicht möglich, da der Server nicht funktioniert! Mehrere Freundinnen sind im Besitz dieses Artikels… er funktioniert! Nur meiner ist defekt!
