I have had this door for two years now and absolutely love it! We have four dogs, ranging in size from a 100lb German Shepherd to a small Pomeranian, and this door has held up to constant use. I will never have dogs without it again! It was also easy to install and is well made.

Perfect way to add a doggie door for renters. Have been working great so far. One issue I have noticed: during the winter seasons a lot of air is let through the door allowing it to sweat and it creates ice on the window. Doesn’t bother me to much. Our dogs are constantly going in and out of it and it has held up great so far. Our German shepherd is 80lb and our Aussie doodle is 50lb and can basically run though the door. The German shepherd is I would say close to 29” tall and has no issue.

I bought an xl door for my husky/pitbull dog. Easy to install and it was the perfect size for him. We had a little trouble lining and sealing it with our door, but nothing we couldn't fixed. We had it for a few months now, and it's still working.

Very easy installation. Looks good and serves the purpose was attended for. Let our Golden Retriever out without being bothered. Will do the foam installation when weather breaks for better adhesive. I did underscores existing door wallin frame latch for nice tight fit.

After installation, because I did not think of sliding open the white cover over the flap until after installation, I Noticed a fold, crinkle wrinkle in the upper side of the flap. This defect wrinkle/ crinkle in the upper side of the flap prevents the bottom of the flap from sealing. The plastic flap is thick. It's impossible to reverse the crinkle and this will not ever be a flat flap, and not seal at the bottom. Very dissatisfied with the flap as there is no seal at the bottom and gaps at the sides.I would certainly appreciate a replacement for the damaged flap. If the seller can remedy the situation, please send me a flat, non-creased flap for this door.

Overall, I think this is great. My dog uses it and it allows her to go in and out whenever she pleases. Installation was simple and I, as a young woman, did it by myself. The only downfall is that you cannot lock the door that you're shutting into this extension piece. It would be nice but as an alternative, I have a stick at the other end of the screen door to prevent it from even opening. FYI - I have this piece and then my screen door that closes to it. Then my glass door opens and closes normally. Anyway, it works perfectly fine and the stick helps alleviate any concern of someone trying to rob me. It's pretty sturdy for what it is. Slightly flimsy but overall sturdy. But that's because it's 1 long piece. AND my dog is a 50 english bulldog and the dog flap size is perfect for her. I can't imagine a "real extra large" size dog like a german shepherd, lab or even a retriever fitting through the flap. Maybe they could since they are long hair dogs whose bodies appear to be bigger than they actually because of all that hair. But my dog is a little bowling ball and it fits her comfortably with some extra room to not hit the sides or top/bottom when going in and out. The flap is pretty good quality too. It doesn't dangle and flap open/close with the wind. There's a metal piece that almost acts like a magnet or paper weight to make sure that flap stays down when not used. Lastly, my dog started using this immediately. It took a few rounds of treats to get her in and out but that was it. Simple. She uses it all throughout the day as she pleases. And for reals, lastly, I bought this one instead of the other ones because of lower cost. I think it had fewer reviews but they were decent. Hope this helps.

But then it still.may not fit!I measured and picked the size that was supposed to EASILY fit my screen door. It did ot even with pulling down the adjustable part. Literally had to do a lot of jimmy-jamman to get it in. It was such an ordeal that I will probably have to break it to get it out of there.I need to put a latch on this door that connects to my screen because big winds come and open that part. Luckily, my sliding glass part opens very wide so there is no issues with it not providing enough room for people or other objects going in and out with this door intact.Now, once all that happened, it got put in and it works as advertised. It was super easy to train my puppy dog to go in and out of it.I put it on the screen portion of the door. It wasnt going to really fit well on the glass portion. The security door provided slides in and off well and with ease. Has a self-latching situation at the top.I definitely recommend getting one if you want to not either get up and open the screen door a hundred times a day or if you don't want to keep your screen open all day. Neither of those options worked for me.
