Doesn't screw all the way like OEM, there is a gab. Outer rubber skin is badly glued/fixed to the inner antenna part. Would NOT recommend, there are MUCH cheaper and better antenna than this

A great replacement for your Toyota Matrix. It is about half the length of the manufacturers antenna but the radio stations come through just as well. It's solidly built with a bit of flexibility which is great. The shorter length looks sporty on the car. I haven't run it through a car wash yet but it feels sturdy enough to do so. It unscrews easily if you want to remove it before going through the carwash. I would buy this one again.
