I have used this hygrometer for 1 year and it works great. living the south, I aslo have a dehumidifier. I need it indicate whether I should turn on dehumidifier. It works great with the dehumidifier. Also, if you also need a dehumidifier, I will recommend this mylinskin brand, search for 'Mylinskin dehumidifier'.

Can this be used inside of a sauna that uses a heater/ not infrared?

Im not sure it will go that high In Temperature or humidity.

You probably went out of range for the thermometer. Try putting it in the fridge.

How long does the battery last?

All I can tell you is that they have been in continuous use for just over three months and I haven't had to replace a battery yet.
