You searched it and found it. Now buy it.
I've had this holster for over 2 years. I have the larger belt clip version for my duty belt at work. It has been through just about everything you can imagine. The clip holds nice and tight to the belt and prevents any "rattle". The holster itself is sturdy enough to handle the rigors of everything I've put it up againt. As you can see in the photos, its footprint is minimal and almost invisble making the tool itself blend in with the other equipment. Being able retrieve the tool very quickly and with one hand is essential in high hazard situations such as cutting a crash victim out of a seatbelt while also holding on to them with the other hand to prevent them from falling in an overturned vehicle (example only). Very well made holster and it looks to be a long lasting high quality product that has a price on point for it's needs.

Works very well, stands up to moderate duty. Room for improvement.
I'm in the army and wore through my original oht sheath in no time. This metal sheath is an excellent replacement. The multi tool fits in well, and is held in place well. The clip is very securely riveted to the sheath. The belt clip is nice strong spring steel, and keeps the sheath in place provided it is larger than the belt you are wearing. I got the smaller version, and it works perfectly with my leather belt but does not quite fit over the standard issue army uniform belt. This isn't the product's fault, I will just need the larger version for my duty belt. The powder coat on the metal has held up surprisingly well except for where the multi tool contacts on the inside, which is expected and not a problem. The reason for a 4 star instead of 5 is the steel the sheath is made of. When the tool is in the sheath it is very robust and tough. But, when the sheath is empty, the arms that clamp the tool in along with the main body of the sheath can easily be bent with very little flexing. This allowed me to "tighten" the sheath for a perfect fit, but I find every once and a while I have to rebend it to keep a strong grip. I am also afraid that one day I may be using the multitool and the sheath will catch on something or hit something, and if this happened it would easily bend and ruin the sheath. I would be willing to pay more for spring steel. I spent almost $100 on the multi tool, I need a sheath that is just as tough! My recommendation from testing this sheath in the field is to replace the sheet steel construction for spring steel. While spring steel is harder to shape into the sheath (you have to heat where you want to bed) the extra effort would make this product PERFECT. Also, for people in the military or other high movement jobs, a closed loop belt fastener would be a valuable option as I often find the sheath being pushed off when hit from underneath, not a problem for the average person but it would make it bulletproof. Also possibly an option for a securing strap or clip to lock the tool into the sheath so there is absolutely no way it can accidentally come out. This along with a closed belt loop would make it almost impossible to accidentally lose your multi tool. You could call it the military edition. On a final less prudent note, the pliers of the tool can open while it is in the sheath. This could easily be fixed by extending the bottom surfaces to cover the opening in the bottom.Overall, great sheath if you aren't in combat situations

Would recommend
It is a snug fit, so you won’t have to worry about it accidentally falling out. I would “holster” the tool with the extended “safety” on that way the tool doesn’t accidentally come out when you are drawing it out of the holster. What’s great is that you can withdraw the tool with one hand so that doesn’t take away from using this OHT with one hand, which is the entire point of the tool anyhow. It’s easier to holster and withdraw the tool when this holster is mounted on a belt. The holster can modify to fit 1.5 inch belts and 1.75 inch belts. You can also attach the holster to molle webbing which is what I did. I would buy again.

Worth the money
Glad I found this! Only the carbon fiber sheath made by another company showed up and that one only lasted me a month till it fell apart! This one is well built and I like it that the pliers deploy when I unsheathed it!

Awesome
Ive been looking for this exact thing for awhile. The cloth shealths you get with the tools suck. I finally found this and love it. Good build, nice clip. Only negative which is not a big deal, is the multitool catches on the fasteners that hold the clip on. Like i said not a big deal just make sure you are going straight in with the tool and you wont catch

I want to love it
This is a heavy duty metal holster. It fits like a glove. However, it grabs the deployment tabs, in both directions. I don't know if this was by design. So when you pull it out, it deploys the pliers. Going in, it wants to close them. This makes it harder to pull out or insert. To me, it will wear down the deploy buttons as well. The metal on metal force is high. This might be a perfect fit for what you want. For me it isn't. I'm going back to the nylon one.

Works well but works in a specific way.
I didn't like the case my OHT came with so I picked one of these up for something easier to use. This is easy to use, pull it out and whabam. No cover to unbutton and fiddle with. That being said, there are two things I don't like about this. If you don't have your pliers locked in place, pulling your leatherman out automatically opens the pliers. So if you just need your knife or your screwdriver, you need to pull it out and then retract the pliers. The second thing is the pliers have a tendency to drop down while in the holster. Since the holster doesn't have a plate to stop the pliers from sagging down, your pliers will hang out of the holster maybe a half inch.Otherwise, these came in super handy yesterday when I was doing some wiring in the engine bay. I've only had the leatherman and holster for 3 days or so but the black finish is already starting to wear in.Edit: Been using this for a while now and I gotta say I've grown really fond of it. It's taken a beating but it holds up. Every once in a while you need to squeeze the clips together so it opens the pliers on it's way up. Also if you have the pliers open, you can unlock the locking mechanism and shove the pliers back down in to the holder and it'll automatically close itself.Only thing I'd like is a pen holder but I can just fabricate something down the road.
