I needed to lose some weight ready for some upcoming surgery. I chose this Sunny Health and Fitness Rowing machine as it seemed the best in price and quality from all the ones I researched. It hasn't disappointed. Wasn't too difficult to put together and seems really good quality.... durable, strong, comfortable to sit on and well built and hopefully should last a long while if used properly. The colour and design make it a nice looking machine. I have been using it most days since purchasing and it provides a full body but low impact workout and has been gentle on my arthiritic joints. No knee, hip or shoulder pain as I was worried about. A good range of resistance levels mean a varied and challenging workout. I prefer to stick to the lower settings for a longer duration of time rather than the higher settings for a shorter time. The machine is rather quiet and if watching something on the telly or tablet then the sound is quieter still. There are some good rowing workouts on YouTube that you can watch and work along to if you fancy that. All in all an excellent piece of fitness equipment at a very reasonable price, although not as hi tech as your high end gym machines, absolutely perfect for everday home use and suitable for all the family members. Accompany a daily workout on the rower with some healthy eating habits and any extra weight will be sure to drop off. PS. The next model up from this one is much the same except offers a slot to hold a tablet or mobile device and a bottle holder for your drink. Slightly more in cost but might be worth it if these two features are important to you. I just tend to put my water bottle on the floor next to me and my tablet on a small table to the front of me.

If you need a rowing machine and don't have a big budget this one is great. We've had it a few months now and it works very well. It was easy for 1 person to assemble and it's nearly silent when you're using it which is a big plus. The only thing I would say is that I noticed the middle bar where it connects doesn't touch the floor (although there is a bit of a 'foot' there) and dips every so slighty on each row. I don't think this would be very suitable for heavier people due to this. If I put a book under it though it fully stabilizes and completely solves the issue. So, in summary, it's a great machine, just put a book under the middle bit for extra stability. It's really not a big deal though and overall I really like it.

This model does not have a bluetooth, so you cannot connect it to the Sunny app and track your live metrics. In the products photos they have claimed you can connect the equipment to the app, but this is a lie. Also, the way you put the batteries in, is not secure at all. But, overall the device works fine and is sturdy. You can just use the classic monitor and tarck your workout.

Goes together fairly well and very quiet in operation. The resistance does not seem very strong though on the max setting.

Firstly, it arrived in 3 days. Assembly was easy, with explicitly clear instructions and all parts easily identified. It is quiet, even in a hard workout. The resistance levels, from 1-16 are true, with 16 being a bit of a struggle, and the lower numbers a good relaxing pull. Great machine for exercise, not so much for training, as the monitor does not show distances or stroke rate, just number of strokes, time and calories burned. It is very sturdy, and the price was much lower than comparable ergs. Oh yes, and the seat is the most comfortable I've ever had.

I was excited to start rowing to improve my endurance. My only concern was the assembly as I do not consider myself handy. It was incredibly easy to put together in 30 minutes, by myself. The rower is well made and the instructions were very detailed and the hardware was labelled for each step. The user guide gives you the step by step instructions referencing the hardware provided. First workout was smooth and the rower is quiet. Looking forward to training this winter to be ready for Dragon Boat racing next season with strong endurance and cardio conditioning. Would highly recommend this rower!

Really love this rowing machine. It is comparable to machines you find in a gym, very solid and stable, also not noisy at all. It was easy to assemble in six steps. All the hardware and tools you need are included and packaged with a reference to each step. You can easily tell which screws, washers etc you need to use for each step. After I had assembled and used it for two days, I had a question and emailed [email protected]. The reply came almost immediately. The response was precise, complete and polite.
