Works. Easy. No Padding. Seconds to Install. Inexpensive. Fits My TT 040 Headphones
I was hoping that this would be a padded cover for the fragmenting headband on my now-vintage TT 040 headset. It's not padded at all. It's essentially a flat cover with a zipper, making it very easy to install. Fortunately I had some scrap foam pieces to use inside. A five inch long section about the cross-section of my thumb fits on the inside inside of the headband, then the cover zips on. The whole exercise was less than five minutes, even considering I had to go to my foam-scraps locker. If your original padding is still intact, just zip the cover over it. I have other headphones, scattered around for different duties. It just pains me to toss something that otherwise works fine, when for a few dollars a cover like this solves an otherwise cosmetic age and use-related wear problem. I've replaced the ear cups already, now the headband. I bought a replacement battery for them too. Maybe I'm an Oxy Moron -- child of depression-era parents living in a throwaway society. So be it. For a few bucks things are back in service again. Want to stretch the life of your favorite headphones? Unpack, unfold, fit around the headband, zip, done.

Solves the problem
Fits ATH-M50x headphones snuggly, which is great. Solves the flaky headband problem. Would like the fabric to be a little softer or leathery rather than synthetic canvas, but it works and looks decent enough. I have these on 2 pairs of headphones so far, and will likely purchase again when more headphones get to that point of wear.

Head cover for Headphone.
This has worked very well. I have a old pair of headphones that is peeling the fake leather cover. I could buy a new pair but wanted to keep these. This was a cheap way to fix the problem.

Great material, easy installment, super comfortable
I debated what kind of cover to purchase for what felt like forever, but this one was the ticket. It shipped quickly, and my very sad headphones band is looking new again :) This one has some of the least reviews out of the ones I browsed, so I wanted to contribute and attest to how easy it was to put onto my headphones and how comfortable it is to wear. I didn't want a "cloth" or faux leather feel to the headband cover, and this one has a thick and breathable material that feels durable but with some give too. It matches my black headphones perfectly, and the fit is really comfy on my head. I have thick, curly hair and I experience no discomfort whatsoever.

Love it!
This is a very soft headphone band and I'm very satisfied with it. It's high quality and has a nice zipper on for easy installation and removal. It looks a lot more sleep than the OG band I underneath that was staring to kind of shed it's material. I have it on my Cowen E7 ANC headphones and it fits perfectly.

Strong chemical odor, but gets the job done.
How can such a small piece of fabric give off such a foul smell? Hopefully the smell will dissipate with time. Aside from that I'm happy with the product -- it successfully covers the flaking headband on my Bowers & Wilkins PX7, so I no longer get black flakes on my head. Installing it did require a bit of dexterity as others have mentioned. As with any other zipper, make sure you have everything in place well before you start zipping, or it can be a bit of a challenge to get apart to start over.
