My son has been using Maxi Cosi since he was 1 yo. The instructions and installation was pretty straightforward and I like that it comes with latches so you can hook the carseat. I also like that you can adjust the height of the head piece easily. And he is now able to buckle himself and doesn’t need that much help.

So glad I got this booster seat! I did not feel comfortable just getting the backless seat. I love that this one adds more cushion and securement and head cushion. My daughter thought it was comfortable! I also like that it clips into the car so she isn’t shuffled around when driving. We’ve had maxi cosi seats in the past and loved them. Only comment is that my daughter tends to lean forward in it. We tried the reclining feature that it has, but then it wouldn’t clip into the car. I think it may be part of transitioning from the harness (which kept her upright) to using a regular seatbelt. I also love how eventually we can take the back off.

My daughter loves it. I like that you can separate the back from the seat

If you have fixed headrests, you know how hard it is to find a booster seat that fits. This is the one! At least for my 2020 Volvo XC90. I tried Chicco and Peg Perego, both left huge gaps behind the seat. This one fits and it’s comfy. I do wish the cup holder was larger to accommodate most water bottles and snack cups.
