I have three of these mats in my wood shop and three thinner, longer mats from another manufacturer. These are much more comfy to stand on; standing on them is at least as nice as standing on carpet, probably better. The beveled edge is a plus too. I put the nice ones (these) next to my most-used machinery and the cheaper ones by everything else.My only complaint is that these move around on the concrete floor of my shop. The bottom is some sort of spongey foam rubber but it isn't soft enough to really stick to the floor very well. I finally got tired of the annoyance and safety hazard presented by moving mats and screwed them into the concrete, an inelegant but very effective solution.All in all, I definitely recommend these mats. They're a bit expensive compared to others but absolutely worth it if you're on your feet in one place all day.

Took about 15 days to totally relax from the roll up packaging & really start working the way it should. Very comfortable now & extreme difference in my knees from standing & working in my shop. I got this to replace the same thing that was 11 years old. It really does 'wear well'. Excellent pricing; superior product. I was able to cut lengths I needed & then bevel the edges myself using an orbital sander to take away some of the sponge material.

I bought one of these mats to replace the chair in my home office after buying a stand-up desk.Paired with some good standing shoes, this has drastically improved my ability to stand at my desk all day.I also recently got a stand-up desk at the work place and didn't hesitate to order another one of these mats. Great product.

I ordered four of these mats for machinists at my company who stand on a cement/epoxy floor for 8 hours a day. They are very happy with them. The thick foam pad underneath them is nice. I would definitely order them again.

Bought this for my wood workshop as my back would get stiff after a day of standing on the cement floor. Placed it in front of the workbench. Even though I am not on it all the time, it makes a big difference. A little pricey but it works.

Using it at the office at my standing desk. Definitely reduces fatigue on my back.

This is the best mat I have used for a person that stands in 1 place for an extended period of time. I now own 2 of the mats.

I returned this the same day I received it, mostly because it was too thin to provide any comfort with extended standing, but also because it made the entire office smell like funky tires.
