I just installed this today 11/11/2024. I was worried about there being a hole or opening for the pipe connections and drains, but this cover is loose enough and it velcros all the way up one side as well so I was able to snake the drain lines out the bottom. It seems to be very well made and is thick and pretty heavy duty feeling. My water softener is outside as I don’t have a utility room where the water connects inside so I had to install my softener outside. This ought to protect it well from the elements. Also, it is lined with a thermal foil liner (like a space blanket) so even if I have to put a halogen or heat lamp under it I believe it’ll hold the heat very well!

This water softener outdoor insulated cover feels really good and puffy. It is well made and the sizing is just as advertised. It is too early to tell if its going to protect our equipment properly since it is still summer heat here in Florida even though it is already September, but if it fails when the freeze comes in December I will come back to update this review accordingly. For now all looks good so I will recommend it.

Great heavy duty quality cover. Fits over all my tanks and hoses with easy velcro system and pull string bottom anchor. Heavy insulation and foil interior.

We had used heat lamps in past years and this thing is AMAZING! we have had freezing temps and no issues! Highly recommend if your water tank/softener needs warmth!

It didn’t fit over all the piping. I was expecting a better fit.

This cover feels solid, easy to install and looks great. Good value for the money
