This is an cheaper option than using some other well known brands on the market. It also does not make your tank cloudy and leave a white film on everything. There is a slight noticeable film like substance on the surface and far as i know it does not seem to impact on the fish, as have been using it over a month.

I didn't use this for long enough to find out whether it does the job of adjusting pH. I stopped because a gigantic soft-leaved Amazon sword in the tank I was treating immediately started to turn yellow. It was too late. It died. Certainly not taking the risk with any other plants.UPDATE: I foolishly (as it turned out) used it in a new setup, as I didn't want to waste it. Perfect pH and kH, but the gH skyrocketed. So I tested the original tank. Same thing...... the gH had always been low. Presumably this is what killed the plant.

Waterlife 'pH to 6.5' is a very effective and easy to use pH buffer for tropical freshwater aquariums containing livestock that needs slightly acidic pH (pH 6.5), such as those containing many types of tetras, catfish and cichlids such as discus and freshwater angelfish etc. It can be used with tap water, and reverse osmosis filtered water, at the start-up stage of a freshwater aquarium, and with water changes to maintain the pH of 6.5. An excellent product, and use a pH test kit.

This is good product. Check your water first before using.
