Great Nutrition Guide
This is a great guide to eating. It has meal plans with grocery lists for each week. I like that the recipes are super easy and different from other "health eating" books, and not so far off that it is not something you wouldn't eat. Using this along with the BodyBoss Exercise book, I am seeing results!

Great intentions with some flaws
I've been using the BodyBoss nutrition guide for a few months now. I think it has great goals, but was not tested enough before being released. Most of the recipes are very healthy and focus heavily on vegetables with some fruits and meat. There's a good bit of dairy, but I substitute with non-dairy options as I am allergic.PROS-I definitely lose weight staying on the plan, even without exercise!-Lots of fresh vegetables!-Some of the recipes are very creative, such as the Green Potstickers-Shopping list-Daily meal plan with meal prep suggestions-Would be fairly easy to substitute if vegetarian or veganCONS-Some recipes were not tested or proofread. Some of them just don't work very well (for example, the cookies fall apart), and others have mistakes, such as leaving out a step.-There are a couple weeks where one ingredient was so prevalent and could have been better swapped. Such as what I call the "salmon week", which had salmon every day. This was the most problematic on "cabbage week", which had raw cabbage, and lots of it, every day. My stomach couldn't take it. I saw several other complaints about that in the BB group.-I found it hard to pack some of the lunches for work.-The weekly shopping list leaves off some perishables. This is in the list of things you should have on hand, but sometimes it's hard to gauge how much to have on hand.-The guidelines say it's 1800 calories a day, but when I put meals into a tracker, came out with about 1300 on average. There are some cheats built in, but still didn't come out to 1800 a day.-Had a lot of issues with vegetables not making it through the whole week, even using the suggestions they gave. There's probably other things I could do, and I wonder if the grocery stores do this on purpose, but it's a challenge I encountered.

It's a decent start... maybe?
When I bought this, I was excited to have another weekly planning guide as well as more recipes to add to my mix. After skimming through the book, all I can say is what the what! I was not impressed at all by any of the recipes. It was like they took ingredients and just slapped them together without thinking of how the final product would turn out. The mix and match of ingredients as well as the measurements of each were pretty horrific. I feel sorry for a new cook trying to use these "recipes" because, as a seasoned cook, even I struggled to make the few I made appetizing. Oh, and so much corn and honey! At least half the recipes seems to require it. Plus typos and just the general feeling of being condescending and entitled..The smoothie and Superfood booklets are the only saving grace. Yes, you can find all the same info online but its nice thats it in one spot.
