Brilliant because in Summer breezes, an addition of water to the impermeable base limits the fly-away ash particles. The grooves are 100% perfect to securely hold a king size cigarette. The centrally mounted stub-out disc is screwed in to the base and very easy to remove and clean. Wonderful (lazy-making) capacity before emptying. Thank You!

Form and function are well conceived. The material is heavy enough not to be blown away, it's tall enough not to have to see the old butts and the platform which unscrews for cleaning, is a good rest and stub out spot. I particularly like the unfusssy design and no visible branding logos.

It looks amazing and it is just the right size. I use it outside and you can even place it on a glass top table because it has a soft pad underneath.
