AE-1600H Series | Black | 10-Year Battery | LED Illuminator | Digital Watch

The Casio 1600 is a light-weight, easy to use watch that is a pleasure to wear. The light shading of the date and seconds fields makes a nice contrast to the time field. The LED illuminator works fine, although the watch is easily readable in semi-dark conditions. I'm sure I to appreciate the 10-year battery when my other watches require new batteries every 12-18 months. Overall, very good value for the money.

Cool piece of Casio. Modded mine slightly by adding 22mm strap adapters and opted for a Black/Gray Bond Strap. Has a subtle pop to it and gave the watch more character. I like it and its AE1500 cousin for their large numeric display. Super easy to read at a glance. Not sure why some find the display too dark according to some reviews unless this pertains to the negative display. I opted for the black case, positive display. Can't go wrong with this watch in my opinion. 100m water resistant, 5 alarms, timer & stopwatch. All the basic G Shock functions without the G Shock pricetag. Safe to say these are G Shock killers as this and the 1500 are well built and quite durable. Only downside is that I wish Casio would've opted for a mineral crystal instead of the cheap acrylic. Not a deal breaker and easily remedied by installing glass screen protectors. The straps aren't the best quality either, but utilizing a pair of JaysAndKays 22mm adapters, I fitted my 1500 & 1600 with some nice Nato straps. Ive been researching bull bars for the 1700 and believe the GW9400 Rangeman bull bars might be compatible. I'll try to confirm and followup on this later, but the glass screen protectors are readily available here on Amazon. Just use the search and they should pop up. Keep on mod'n & keep on G Shock'n. :) Edit: For the AE1500, I'm found that the GW6900 Bull Bars fit. Not perfect, but they will work.

Dope watch, everything you need without all the fancy add-ons and very sleek. item purchased was NOT the item pictured but was happy with what i received but it was fine. I also swapped the battery once i received it, just for peace of mind and a full 10 year cycle. easy to adjust, seems very durable and a great size. Also very easy to read and keeps time down one second!

Cool Watch for the price. The brightness works for me but in some cases yo have to look at it in a certain angle but it doesn’t bother me too much. It feels like ver y light plastic but looks stronger. I bought it for the gym, beach or about foros activities where I don’t want to damage my other Watch and it works Great

Great watch and visibility, but returned since this was a gift for someone with much smaller than normal wrists, would have kept for myself though!

This watch is large, easy to red, overbuilt and light on the wrist. The battery lasts 10 years. It's amazing. It's already a favorite. Kaki is the perfect color, it goes with everything. At this price you may want more than one.

Badass 10 year battery machine…is not that comfortable but its worth paying

I've owned this for six months, and love it. It is so accurate that it only gains one second a week, which is nothing! Especially for a watch that only costs $29.00! It has a beautiful, clean face, big font so it's easy to read, and is robust (it's a Casio!). Every 8 weeks, I just reset it to my computer clock's second hand, and I'm good for another two months. Until you've owned a watch that is this accurate, you can't quite appreciate the power of being so spot on that you see your minute click exactly with the atomic clock day after day. This is accuracy that far exceeds any Rolex, Patek, Royal Oak, or Omega. For $29, you just can't go wrong. I go swimming with this, take showers with it, and never have a problem. If accuracy and value are what you're after, by all means, this is the watch to buy.

Excellent beater watch for work and in the field.

Excellent fit. I love it looks great aswell. Doesn't match the picture its a little different but still a very nice watch

I'm pulling the plug on this watch after using it for about a month. the Chime is almost inaudible and i rely on my watch for a morning alarm and meetings during the day. Unless you are in total silence you can't hear it. and my ears test ok. it's unbelievable how they could design a watch with such a light tone. i can only guess that they were stretching to get that 10 year battery rating.

I used Casio Mudmaster for my work which is little big ,so I was looking for light well designed and I got eye on AE-1600H perfect budget price for 10years battery with varieties of colours.I am using watch sun protection film so digits are little blur you may use 9H film for clear display.
