I’ve been using L’Oréal Men Expert Derma Control Purifying Gel Cleanser for a few weeks, and overall I’m really impressed — as long as it’s used for the skin type it’s actually designed for. First off, the gel spreads easily, and you only need a small amount (definitely not a full pump), so the 260 ml bottle will last a long time. The scent is fresh and clean, not overpowering. After rinsing, my skin feels properly cleansed but not tight or uncomfortable, which is something I appreciate because many oil-control cleansers can feel harsh. It leaves my face feeling clean and balanced rather than stripped. This cleanser is aimed at oily and blemish-prone skin, and that’s important to keep in mind. The salicylic acid helps loosen dead skin and clear pores, while niacinamide helps calm the skin and support a more even look. Even though it’s a rinse-off product, regular use still helps keep oil and breakouts under control. I’ve seen comments saying it can feel slightly drying — and I can see how that might be the case if you have dry or sensitive skin or don’t moisturise afterwards. For oily or acne-prone skin, though, it works very well as a daily cleanser, especially when followed with a light moisturiser. Overall: fresh smell, cleans thoroughly without heavy foaming, a little goes a long way, and it does exactly what it claims for oily skin. A solid everyday face wash if oil and breakouts are your main concern.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐☆ 4/5 – Effective cleanser for oily and blemish‑prone skin This L’Oréal Men Expert cleanser does a solid job of cutting through oil and cleaning pores — after a few uses my skin already felt noticeably less greasy, especially in the T‑zone, and looked fresher. The gel lathers well and rinses off cleanly without leaving a heavy or sticky residue. I noticed the combination of salicylic acid and niacinamide seems to help reduce breakouts and keep skin clearer; pores feel less clogged and skin appears more balanced. The pump bottle and lightweight gel texture make it convenient to use daily. The only thing to be mindful of is that it can feel slightly drying if used alone on sensitive or dry skin — pairing it with a good moisturizer afterwards helps mitigate that. For oily or acne‑prone skin though, it’s a very good daily cleanser.

Really good stuff. I use this along with its matching serum and face wash before going to bed, but in the morning i use it after washing with soap. If i clean my face thoroughly and don’t moisturise i get dry “sandpaper” skin. It does the job well and doesn’t leave my skin greasy like some moisturisers do.

Suprisingly good, don’t have particularly high expectations but cleanses better than most more expensive brands. Smells great, and good value for money when on offer.

I'm finding that this is a good face celanser if you have oily skin. Used twice a day it does leave your face feeling refreshed and clean afterwards but it won't stop the excess oil production. I've had no issues with it drying out the skin but have read others have noticed this. It's pretty much odourless and lathers up well, allowing you to give yourself a long gentle wash, as with all soaps, avoid getting in the eyes. The applicator bottle allows for the correct dose each time and the bottle lasts well. Not sure I would pay the full RRP though but as it's almost always at 50% the price is about right.

Nice packaging, make sure you splash warm (as hot as is safe) water on your face before using this so that your pores are open. Then apply a small amount to your face and work it in for at least thirty seconds if you are using this to control spots or blackheads. A carbon peel off face mask or facial scrub once a week would help too, again, open those pores first. You can buy the main ingredient in this wash ‘Salicylic acid + Niacinamide’ or just ‘Salicylic acid’ by itself as a liquid and could use that over the face with a cotton wool pad, giving it a good ‘scrub’ it’s available for sale here on Amazon, the cheaper ones are as good as the more expensive. This gel wash (actually more of a shampoo consistency) is worth it if you pay £6.00 or so on offer, otherwise go for the solutions I mentioned that are around £3.50.

Avevo sempre qualche brufoletto sparso e la pelle spesso lucida, soprattutto nella zona T. Ho deciso di provare questo siero un po’ per curiosità, e devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso! La texture è leggera, si assorbe subito senza lasciare la pelle unta — perfetta anche la mattina prima di uscire o prima di dormire. Dopo circa una settimana ho notato meno imperfezioni, pori più chiusi e una pelle più uniforme. L’odore è fresco ma non troppo forte, e ne basta davvero poco per tutto il viso, quindi il flacone dura parecchio. Lo uso insieme a una crema idratante leggera della stessa linea e il risultato è top. ✅ Pro: Pelle più liscia e meno lucida Riduce brufoli e punti neri Si assorbe velocemente Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo ❌ Contro: Il flacone è piccolo (ma dura comunque molto) In sintesi, un prodotto che consiglio a chiunque voglia una pelle pulita e curata senza troppi passaggi. Lo ricomprerò sicuramente!
