Does help boost the signal
Using this to boost signals from a chain of solar WiFi extenders to get a signal to a distant surveillance camera. The extenders have two SMA connectors; so I have one of these antennas pointing at the source WiFi and the other at the next solar WiFi repeater in the chain. They provide a more consistent (directional) signal than the stock antennas (omnidirectional) that came with the solar repeaters. Allows me to increase the distance between repeaters over what the repeater instructions say they can cover.

Good antenna
Good antenna for the price. Sturdy and well built. I get decent signal strength with 802.11 and have used it a few times with my SDR.

Better than most
Worked better than all the other outdoor antennas tried to lose. Still not perfect but the signal was stronger.

I purchased this Yagi directional antenna expecting to improve my Wi-Fi range significantly, but it did the opposite. My previous antenna, when aimed at the access point, gave me a signal strength of 70. With this Yagi, the signal dropped to 95, which is far worse! Instead of boosting, it actually degraded my connection. Very disappointed, and this product did not meet expectations at all.”
