Great smelling bug spray even works for people!
Nice smelling bug spray for dogs. It is very strong, I would only apply it maybe once a day as opposed to multiple times. Also gives your dog a nice shine to their coat and skin. Even kept the mosquitoes off of me. My dad lives in an area with a lot of wildlife so there are flies and mosquitoes that are heavy in the area especially bot flies. Preventatives like heartgard prevent parasites that mosquitoes carry but doesn't prevent them from biting. Which is primarily why I bought the spray. If you have a small dog like my dad's Yorkie you won't need to use a lot but a larger dog may require more sprays. I noticed that my dad's Yorkie doesn't scratch or bite when he's outside so that must mean that it's working.

Smells great!
Always great! Occasionally the sprayer doesn’t work but I always have one from a previous order.

Happy with this product
This spray is an effective bug repellent for my 4 legged girl. We live in the middle of the north woods where mosquitos and flies are a serious seasonal issue. This spray allows my dog to be outside for hours with no negative effect on her skin, no reaction and a wonderful scent. The pump is easy to use but does leak somewhat at the base where it screws onto the bottle.

Tick Magnet
Although we live in a wooded area, I had never seen a wood tick on my dog, until I used this product. Trying to be proactive as the weather warmed, I sprayed it on his legs. It smells great and I like that is has no chemicals or poisons, but after being outside for 2 hours he had 3 ticks on his legs. It kind of traps the ticks as it's a bit oily, and they seemed to smother in it and get stuck on him. Not wanting to waste it, I tried it on myself. It didn't feel so oily on my skin once it dried, but later watched a mosquito proceed with no hesitation to begin to bite me. Dog is doing just fine with only his normal tick repelling shampoo I guess, because a few weeks later, I've only found 2 ticks on him and he's outside daily in tall grass and woods. Can't recommend this product - just not effective. Update: I would like to amend my previous review as it is now horse fly season and it does seem to be effective at repelling biting flies. The flies were tormenting my dog so I gave the product another try - sprayed it on dog's head, ears, back and butt and the flies did seem to leave him alone. Then tried it on myself again, and the flies seemed unable to locate me, so I'm giving it 3 stars now. I will continue to use it for flies.

POSIONOUS TO DOGS!!
I got this in yesterday because we are visiting Maine with our pups and the bugs are terrible this year. The smell was great and the product was actually working! Until my sister read the back of the bottle and notice peppermint oil is posionous to dogs to ingest or to have on their skin! Those facts are from the kennel club of America. We are not going to use it anymore because of this fact. We are unsure at this moment if the rest of the esstenial oils are harmful or not but will be doing research. Please be better then us and do the research!!

LOVE THIS STUFF
Nantucket keeps spiders, fleas, and ticks all year long from coming into the dog house of my dogs. i really like this spray and use it to spray down the inside of our Pine dog house which has a canvas liner. I take the liner out every Arpil or early May and wash it down with a garden house and then launder it. While the canvas lining is laundering, I sweep down the dog house both internally and externally. Then I spray Nantucket as a fine even coat on the wood both inside and outside. I let it dry overnight and then reassemble the next day. Periodically during the year, I will pull out their bed and spray down the interior lightly again with Nantucket. I use Frontline on the dogs once a month. I have not seen any spiders, fleas or ticks since using this product. before especially, spiders would set up house on the bottom underneath of the dog house and I always worried about the dogs getting bitten. They don't stay outside all the time because we bring them in at night but when they are out there they use there dog house and don't have any ill effects from this product. Inside the house, I sometimes spray down the areas where the dogs like to lie down just to make sure no pests feel welcome there.

No more ticks
Ticks are a thing in WI all seasons and exceptionally bad this year. My pup is on frontline but that doesn't keep the ticks off him, it only kills the ticks when they bite. I bought some of this and keep it in my hiking/camping supplies. When I pre-treat him at the trail head, we do NOT have tick issues. Its amazing!!!! I usually just spray legs and under belly. I've been using it for a couple years now and don't recall ever having even 1 ticks as long as we pre-treated the pup just before the hike. It also doesn't smell horrid like deet products and actually smells good hippy camp. One time camping, my deet was low/ran out and I even had to use this spray. Worked great and didn't give me the slimy OFF like feel. I highly recommend this product for keeping ticks, mosquitos and black flies away.
