Simple fertilizing system and customizable
This is the second one I bought. This system works great. Just add the powdered fertilizer to the level according to the area you want to fertilize, hook it up to a water hose, and start spraying. The nozzle allows for straight jet flow and other fine types of sprays. An additional note for stupid people like myself: You have to push the top button forward in order to get the fertilizer to actually travel through. It's a slide button, the only one there. I tried this unit at first and watered my 50 square-foot garden without pushing this button forward. Then, later on, I read the instructions or watched a YouTube video that showed how to push the button forward to get the fertilizer going through. When I finally pushed the slide forward, I could see the blue fertilizer disappearing gradually. When I did this at first without pushing it forward, the water in the container was still dark blue, and I just figured this was normal. So, push the slide button forward to get the fertilizer flowing. Also, this product comes with the plastic container full of fertilizer. There are marks on the container that show square feet of spread. It took me a while to realize that I needed to remove this powdered fertilizer to another container for storage and just leave what I needed in the spray container. For my little 50 square-foot area, I only needed about 1/4 or 1/8 the amount below the first mark. I did this, and it worked perfectly. I sprayed the little area in a few minutes, and the color turned from blue to clear, confirming that the fertilizer had gone through and applied where I had directed it to my plants. This is a perfect little tool for fertilizing small to large gardens, easily handling larger gardens of maybe 1000 square-feet or more.

answers to a couple of problems
I loaded it, connected it to the hose and sprayed. Nothing other than water came out. I yelled at it, turned it on and off - no joy. I wrote customer service on FB and got an immediate reply but it was too test it in a white bucket and call back if I still had the problem. Very nice person but not the answer This version has no "straw" so think about what that means. It means the cup has to be entirely full so the liquid is in contact with the top. If it's not it won't work. It's that simple. It must be full before it will dispense fertilizer Next is quite a bit of the product sits un-dissolved on the bottom of the cup. The answer? Fill the cup with product in it almost to the top with waterr. Stir until the product is completely dissolved. It doesn't take long. One other problem people have complained about - leaking. If there's no washer at the hose connection, it's going to leak. Check to see that the washer didn't fall out at some point. If it did or if for any reason you don't see one in the connection, put one there - they're cheap but indispensable I was frustrated and now I'm happy.

Good product but the bottle needs a little improvement
It’s ok except after a few uses it starts to leak. But it does the trick. My lilies all bloomed after applying the fertilizer

Great feeder
Great feeder for miracle grow products, good reach. No matter what type you buy it's always going to leak or the top will occasionally not be on correctly which is my fault but this is great value and great feeder, easy to use and one of the best that leaks the least!!

Makes watering and fertilizing my indoor garden so much easier and faster.
I grow most of our veggies and herbs in my 2-room basement garden and have been doing this for about 8 years. Previous to getting these feeders, I could water my plants with a garden hose and wand using a garden type faucet I have in the basement. Although this method made watering much faster, I wasn't able to fertilize my plants unless I used a watering can to mix the plant food with the water. Since most of the plants in my large plant room are in 10-15 gallon pots, this meant hauling a 2-gallon watering from the sink faucet to the plants multiple times which generally took 3-4 hours to complete the task. I bought 2 of these feeders to have one for feeding greens and herbs and one for fruiting plants such as tomatoes, peppers, and squash. and can now use my hose to water and fertilize my plants. So far, the Miracle Grow plant foods have been working well. I have been using the fertilizer for acid loving plants to lower soil PH when needed, the general fertilizer for greens, and the tomato fertilizer for tomatoes, peppers, and squash. I love the trigger which makes it so easy to move from pot to pot and also appreciate the adjustments for spray patterns. Although I didn't have a problem with water leaking when using these feeders, I have had the problem with the watering wands I use. Adding another washer has always solved this problem. These feeders have made my watering job so much easier, and I can now water and feed at the same time without hauling a 2-gallon watering can multiple times. This allows me time for more fun stuff like harvesting and potting new plants. The only problem I have with this feeder is that is made to mix only the Miracle-Gro fertilizer. Admittedly, I like some of the other fertilizers I use better than Miracle-Gro as it does not contain the nutrients necessary for some of the fruiting vegetables, like tomatoes. I have added a video of my large plant room to give you an idea of what I am growing. I also have another room with shelves that is used for starting new plants and for growing smaller plants. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Works Great—Once You Get a Good One!
I bought the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder to simplify watering and fertilizing my garden. The first unit I received leaked badly and left me guessing whether the fertilizer was even mixing in. As someone new to this feeder, it was honestly frustrating. Luckily, I gave it another shot—and the second one was a night-and-day difference. No leaking, no guessing, and I could clearly see the fertilizer mixing into the water. It made the process super easy and far more effective. So if you get a leaky one return it and try again.

Actually works! But problems arise later.
Update: weeks later and the whole thing is leaking... I don't know what happened... Just started leaking from the front yellow part where you twist it to switch nozzle type. Worked great until that happened. Very disappointed in the low quality.... Ok, so mine came bare in a box. No packaging or padding whatsoever, which I thought was a little strange, but it wasn't damaged or anything. Followed instructions on product. It actually worked great! Here is my experience: Mine NEVER leaked one bit. (See above update!!!) At first I thought it wasn't working because the water just came out the sprinkler area without any of the mixture, but I took off the container and saw that there were two holes, one small where the water from the hose was coming into the container, and one for the water miracle grow mix to go out and mix with the rest of the sprinkler water. Once the container is full, it pressurizes and pushes the proper amount of mixture out with the rest of the water. But it took a few minutes for the container to fill and the crystals to dissolve enough for it to actually push the mixture out. You can't really tell it's working until you see the container has turned clear from all the solution having been used up.
