The color is I would say pretty accurate to the square it gives as a color option. The photos are lighter than the product, but the square is pretty accurate (for the beige ones at least) It asked about sheerness, but these are not sheer...I didn't realize they were supposed to be. They just barely show any skin color under them, so I guess a little bit sheer? They're good though, accurate size, comfortable, etc. My only complaint is that they have a soft top, not a silicone top, but I knew that buying them so it isn't a hit against the product, just something I wish it had.

I had a DVT a year ago and was told I should use compression stocking. Well, I used them right after the DVT and than gradually got away from regular use. I think the fear subsided and I got complaisant :) Anyway, it been a long winter and I have not been as active as usual, my legs began hurting. I always have had swelling/edema but, I can say they began aching and I became concerned. I could not find any size over a large at the 3 large drug store chains. I also went to medical supply, it's special order and above 50.00 for Job's brand. I bought a 3 X Truform 8865. I can tell you the quality is really good. I clearly remember the pair I had last year would cut into my skin by the knee. There seem a little long ( slightly) I am 5'8 and about 320 lbs. There is a little extra material that can be spaced out, but again becz it does not cut you at the knee, it's comfortable, supportive and the price is right! I felt relief after the first 10 minutes. I recommend this product.

Ugh, the never ending search for the perfect compression stocking continues. Based on my ankle and calf measurement I could wear a 2x or 3x. I went with the 3x just in case the amount of compression in this stocking was so tight that it would be near impossible to get on. So many problems with the fit for me, and I can't believe I would be the only one. -Toe and heel areas very loose. They were clearly made to not have compression and allow wiggle room, but holy cow- you could have fit half my entire foot in either area. -I'm barely 5'4. The length of these were so long- like 5 inches too long. I guess think ankles and calves must only go with tall people in the compression stocking business. Skinny legs can be short as a "short" version is available in smaller sizes. Got to love industry standards. More than half this country is obese yet very few companies actually make and market products to them. But I digress.... -Entire foot is very large, causing creasing of the material. Again, if you need a 3x then your foot must be a size 12 or higher. (I wear a size 9 womens). If only I could find a compression stocking that worked, my lower legs would be so happy. I would not recommend this if you are short and obese.
