We ordered this for a holiday season wedding. It is a very nice shirt. I love that the red is rich and deep. The shine of the sateen gives it a nice dressiness that pairs well with a silver grey vest. The fit was good as well.

As far as quality goes, this is a fantastic shirt. As far as how it fits... Well first and foremost, you have to understand the difference between fitted and slim fit. This shirt should definitely be considered slim-fitting as opposed to fitted. Slim fit shirts are great for guys with normal bodies to pretty buff. Fitted are better for people with slim and more athletically toned bodies. That being said, super buff guys who choose to wear extra fitted shirts look dumb. Personal opinion, but just putting it out there. I know we all want to go for that button-popping look but, when you're getting a quality dress shirt, you want to look legend- wait for it and yes this is a HIMYM reference- dary.So, this shirt gets four stars. The fabric is excellent quality and looks both classically tasteful and impressive with a nice black suit. But the fit isn't fitted. It's more slim than anything else. But it's nothing your tailor can't help resolve and truthfully, all of Van Heusen fitted dress shirts are like this. J Ferrar tend to be a bit truer in size to what you can expect from a genuinely fitted dress shirt. But expect to pay a bit more as well.Anyway, more often than not, you shouldn't expect to buy a dress shirt online and have it fit you perfectly without seeing a tailor. Just doesn't work that way. But to be clear, I didn't mark it down for that. I marked this shirt down because most people who understand the difference between slim fit and fitted shirts are bound to expect one thing and get something else entirely.

We have been shopping for a dress shirt for my husband for years, but a larger neck generally means a balloon shaped shirt and super long sleeves. For years, he has been rolling up the sleeves and folding/tucking the extra fabric of the shirt into the sides of his waistband. No more! These shirts come in a variety of neck sizes and sleeve lengths, and the fitted shirt is slimmer in the body and fits nicely. Most importantly, it's the same great quality shirt you can find at department stores at a more affordable price!

Wonderful nrand thats been around a while and for good reason. I own a few other dress short brands, but i love van huesen! The price is fair. You could spend 300 bucks on a shirt and get a little more stretch or possibly better comfort, but for a guy who wants to look sharp at church, a wedding, his job, or a number of other events and places, idk why you'd buy anything else..im sure there are plenty of grreat shirt brands out there, but buy from this company and you wont be disappointed
