I like a smooth, medium roast, and this was it. Loved it. I like to use "pods" in those stupid little hotel coffee makers because while the coffee maker is 2nd rate at best, the coffee they provide is even less.

Wanted a K cup that wasn’t plastic and decided to try these that are all fibrous. It does not fit into the K cup holder and tends to either produce coffee that has very little coffee in it (mostly hot water) or it overflows and doesn’t go through the pod. I’ve tried position in various ways but the best you can get is very weak coffee. Would never recommend anyone buy this.

My biggest complaint about most soft pods is that you have to choose between a big cup of coffee or a bold one. These Noir pods are densely packed and completely fill the pod holder on my Bunn MyCafe. This lets me brew a larger cup than any other pod I've encountered. (Most other pods are loosely packed and contain less coffee. I sometimes make my own pods, and even then I can't pack in as much coffee as these Noir pods hold.) And, the flavor is fine - I usually opt for dark roast beans even when I grind myself. I haven't observed any of the quality problems some reviewers have mentioned, though I've only used two boxes so far.

I use these in my Hamilton Beach pot-or-single maker that uses senseo pods. This is the perfect roast for me -- smooth yet very full flavor. These have so much less waste than k-cups so I'm glad my brewer requires these, and they're cheaper-per-cup as well. A perfect single-cup option. The slightly stronger sumatra roast is very good as well. (Update) Seeing the negative reviews here: it's apparent that not all brewers are designed to match up with this pod. My coffee has never been close to "watery" and the flavor is full and excellent. If you aren't getting a good cup of coffee out of these, it has to be because of the brewing equipment. (2nd Update) They've changed this coffee, everything about it -- the packaging, the pod itself, the coffee. Nothing like it used to be. Now it tastes like an average no-name coffee. So disappointed, it was something special before. Won't be ordering it again.

I love this coffee! & love the ‘soft ‘coffee pods In the last two months I have ordered this coffee3 times …& They send me the wrong type. They send me K cups. The packaging is totally different. They do refund my money. However, the inconvenience is too much so I’m not ordering this particular flavor any longer. I’m hoping that amazon will please distinguish between the SOFT PODS and theK cups Thank you

I drink my coffe black with one sugar. I enjoy coffee with a strong, dark roasted, complex flavor and when I bought a simple pod brewer for my desk I was very disappointed with the initial weak tasting coffee that I purchased with the machine. I recently purchased this 3 pack with the hope that this coffee brewer was not bought in vain... This is only my second brew but I am pleasantly surprised. Lets not confuse a quality drip or perculator with this pod coffee, but for what it is -- it is convienent and tasty. The one common down fall with these pod coffees is the strength to water ratio... I can overfill my machine with water to get a decent cup of coffee. I recommend this coffee pod.
