Great motherboard with plenty of functionality and connectivity. Easy to work with and benefits from built in heat sinks. Aesthetically very nice as well for white builds. Superb build quality. Very happy with this.

Picked this up earlier this year for my youngest daughter’s PC build, and it’s been excellent. Layout is clean and well thought out, plenty of space to work with, and all the connections slotted in without issue. BIOS was straightforward to update and recognise the Ryzen 9000 series CPU straight away. Performance-wise, it’s more than capable. Handles fast DDR5 without complaint, and the mix of PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots means there’s plenty of room for storage upgrades later. Networking is solid too – 2.5G LAN for stability and WiFi 7 built in, which is quick if you’re close enough to make use of it. VRM design feels strong, cooling is good, and it hasn’t put a foot wrong since the build. For the price bracket it ticks all the boxes – reliability, performance and future-proof features without being over the top. A smart choice for a modern build, and one I’d happily use again.

Honestly this is one of the cleanest motherboards I’ve seen and looks amazing the only one above it would be the stealth variant. This motherboard offers a variety of ports and even has a usb c port for anyone who wants to connect any mini displays granted you will need a CPU with integrated graphics. In terms of performance I am very satisfied with this the VRM is amazing for overclocking and the design is also amazing when it comes to cooling it offers a huge heat sink panel that covers all your M.2 slots allowing you to have the best performance possible. For the value for money this is really giving you bang for your buck.

A great motherboard! It doesn't feel quite as premium as some, but it has plenty of QoL features and was very easy to install. I especially like the ease of connecting the Wi-Fi adapter (it just pops in!) because, let's be honest, nobody enjoys jamming those twin screw things in. I had to flash it using the latest BIOS from the Gigabyte website, which wasn't completely obvious (and required a guide on Reddit to make sure I'd name the file properly), because it wasn't compatible with my (year-old) processor, so I'm rating it down slightly for that. It could definitely be more intuitive, and may have tripped up a novice builder. All that said, now it's set up and running, I can't fault it. Very smooth!

Overall a very great motherboard, been using Gigabyte for nearly a decade and never ran into an issue with their motherboards. Installing the components was relatively easy, especially the nvme ssd. I also found the bios settings to be easy to navigate. If I had to give any criticisms, then it would be great if it came with the full manual book. Mine seemed to miss it, but this wasn't a massive issue since it can be found on the gigabyte website. Other than that, if you plan on using windows 10 and not windows 11, then you should be aware that WIFI7 is only supported on windows 11 and not 10. However, there is a workaround to this, so don't be put off by that. This motherboard uses the Realtek RTL8922AE, and although Gigabyte doesn't have a windows 10 driver, Asus does. You can download the windows 10 driver for the Realtek RTL8922AE by visiting the drivers for the PRIME X870-P WIFI motherboard. And no, it doesn't matter that this is being downloaded from Asus since the driver is directly from Realtek themselves and not the motherboard manufacturers. Do keep in mind though that with this workaround, it will be treated as WIFI6 until you upgrade to windows 11 and update the drivers again to utilise WIFI7.

A royal pain in the backside to get started with the red DRAM light staying. After hours of trying, watching endless, pointless YouTube videos, I thought the board was actually faulty. A new day, and I started with just 1 stick of RAM in the second slot, left the computer to do it's thing and after 5-6 minutes, it booted to bios and I was able to complete my fresh install of Windows. If this happens to you, I hope it helps as it was a nightmare that didn[t want to end. Aside from that, the mobo is awesome and a good price and works well with my Lian li fans, strimmer and ryzen 9950x3d.

Initially it worked fine. After 2 months the CPU LED stayed on. The CPU temp was fine and the PC worked perfectly. Carried out hour of fault finding, reinstallations, and updates. Contacted Gigabyte Support, they supplied update version that would not work and concluded it was suspected Firmware corruption. Told to ask for an RMA to return the board. Gigabyte RMA have been less than helpful, stating they did not have access to Gigabyte fault logging process, so write down the fault details and actions for them. They also request to include £15 in cash or postal order with the motherboard when they eventually send the details where to return the board. Gigabyte do not look good, cheap board with cheap support processes.

Das Mainboard ist optisch kein Hingucker – wer etwas zum Anschauen will, muss sich in der teureren Preisklasse umsehen. Aber funktional bekommt man hier ein wirklich gutes Mainboard mit starkem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Einziger Kritikpunkt bei mir: Meine Grafikkarte (Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT) kollidierte leicht mit einer seitlich angebrachten, plastikverzierten Blende. Diese ließ sich aber problemlos entfernen – kein großes Thema. Technisch bietet das Board einiges: 3 M.2-Slots, davon einer mit PCIe Gen5, die anderen vermutlich Gen4 bzw. Gen3 (da bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher). Einen PCIe Gen5-Slot für die Grafikkarte oder andere Erweiterungen. Viele I/O-Ports, was im Alltag sehr angenehm ist. Das BIOS/UEFI ist sehr benutzerfreundlich, besonders im „Simple Mode“, wo alles klar und verständlich dargestellt wird. Wer tiefer eintauchen will, muss sich wie bei jedem Board etwas durch die Einstellungen klicken. Besonders gut: Es harmoniert hervorragend mit X3D-Chips – deshalb eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein starkes, aber preislich vernünftiges Board suchen.

La GIGABYTE B850 GAMING X WIFI6E è stata una scelta eccellente per il mio nuovo PC. Qualità costruttiva solida, layout ordinato e facilità di installazione: tutti i componenti si montano senza problemi e con ottima gestione dei cavi. Le prestazioni sono eccellenti, con pieno supporto alle CPU di ultima generazione e memoria ad alta velocità. Il Wi-Fi 6E integrato garantisce connessioni stabili e veloci, mentre il BIOS è intuitivo e ricco di opzioni per chi ama ottimizzare il sistema. Un prodotto che unisce affidabilità, connettività moderna e look aggressivo perfetto per un PC da gaming. Davvero soddisfatto dell’acquisto!

Buena, un poco cara

Das Mainboard kommt in gewohnter Gigabyte Qualität. BIOS Update liess sich einfach durchführen. Ab Werk war schon das BIOS für die Ryzen 9000 Modelle installiert. Es sind ausreichend Steckplätze für RGB Lüfter vorhanden. Alle m2 SSDs werden von einem massivem Kühlkörper abgedeckt. Plus Punkt: die Montage der SSD ist werkzeuglos möglich. Treiber gibt es auf der Gigabyte Homepage oder über die Software, wobei ich eine manuelle Installtion bevorzuge. Eine Anleitung liegt leider nicht dabei, ist aber Online verfügbar. ACHTUNG: In dem PDF der Anleitung war bei mir die RAM Steckplätze spiegelverkehrt angegeben. Somit kam erstmal ein kleiner Schock, da dass System nicht Booten wollte. Im Übersicht Bild des Mainboards war die Beschriftung dann korrekt.
