After reading NEGATIVE REVIEWS, I strongly disagree, This stuff is AWESOME ! It works incredibly well on polished aluminum, with little to no effort,No steel wool or Electric polisher needed,Just a clean dry sponge and a clean rag to buff the surfaces to a brilliant shine,after 50+ years as a motorcycle mechanic and have used all kinds of polishes ,Semi Chrome, Turtlewax ,Wenol both red and blue tubes even Electric Buffers for Polished Aluminum,,This Item has em all BEAT !! AND Chrome Polishing is without QUESTION the BEST !!! KUDOS TO 3M !!!

I was skeptical about this products performance to match Magic Glo (now discontinued). However, I exclusively use 3M products on my classic and daily driver, so I thought it was worth a shot. I was very surprised to see how well it performed. It does have a slight bit of grit in in it so, caution if you were not wanting that as a feature. It works great on glass, as well. You have to keep the lid screwed on tight as the creamy consistency has a tendency to lose is easy application motion. I used my two fingers to apply and rub in circles. I got a lot of oxidation on the cloth (that is a good thing) so I suggest changing application areas on the cloth often. I used a microfiber cloth to apply and another one to polish after the product gets a haze after application. Keep the areas somewhat small for best results. 3M has good products (my experience) and this is added to my list since Magic Glo is no longer available. Good product !

It took me awhile to decide on which chrome polish to use, and I'm ecstatic I picked this one. I have a 1985 Cutlass I'm restoring, and the side trim is the only trim I didn't replace. This polish cleaned them to a new mirror like finish, and I couldn't be happier. If there's any negative reviews, obviously you don't know how to use Chrome polish cause this stuff is Phenomenal! (Keep applying and polishing until your cloth comes back clean, no black. it took me 2 times and it's beautiful.)

I used toilet cleaner to clean my showers and sinks not knowing that it will corrode chromed metal. The cleaner left burn marks on everything I used it on. Vinegar, baking soda, lemon, aluminum foil did not help. This chrome & metal polish not only lifted the burn marks but made my faucets look brand new. Pictures show my faucet after two coats of polish.

I was looking for a replacement for the polish that I have used for 30 years that they don't make any more. This item works, but not the same as what I had been using. I needed to work at the items a little more.

Beside the fact that the item arrived in a state where the Jar arrived open(I do no know why) the polish did not work very well. I thought it would work better as it was a 3M product...but I guess not. Also it seems as though the container arrived only half full although it is difficult to tell as the open container has created such a mess...I mean REALLY a mess. You state you want it back ..so I will send the whole ugly mess back to you. Seems like a big waste to me but it is yours now...still can't tell if it actually works. Any questions feel free to contact me...I would still like to see if the polish is worth what it costs....I am always looking for new products that work well whatever they cost...always !

3M Chrome and Metal Polish is amazing. I’m restoring a car and the metal grill had some rust stains that I was having a difficult time getting out. I read about this product and bought it. You can see from the pictures what about 1 minute of buffing with a microfiber cloth did. Can’t wait to see what it is capable of as just a chrome polish. I did have to use a Scotch pad on a couple of really tough areas, but those areas are hidden, so it doesn’t matter that they have a few small scratches, but with this stuff it’s pretty easy to get things cleaned up with just the microfiber cloth. Definitely keeping some on hand. Oh, and it didn’t take much. Just about a fingertip worth (with rubber gloves) covered several inches.
