These work for warding off a cold when you first feel it setting in; they can boost the immune system once you already have a cold, but are NOT a cure all; once you have the cold, you'll most likely go through the worst part of it, but your immune system is getting a boost to help you heal quickly; it is better to start taking it when you first get signs of a potential cold (this also with daily dose of vitamin C)….. and you can take it if you already have a cold to boost the immune function. This is a personal opinion...

I added echinacea to my arsenal of supplements that I take to optimize my immune system. I have taken other Nutricost supplements and I’m pleased with them. I did find one empty capsule in the bottle recently. I’m not concerned about this as I have never come across this in the past with this brand. I honestly can’t say if these supplements are making a difference but I have not been sick recently and I’m feeling pretty energized. I’ve read a lot of positive things about echinacea and so I’m glad I purchased these supplements. You probably should do your own research on echinacea to decide if they are suitable for you. I only take one a day so this bottle will last me for a while. The bottle itself has a snap opening which I like because it is easy to open and then close quickly.

This 800mg seems to be working better. (It's better than taking 2 pills, I'll tell ya. Taking 8 pills every morning and 10 pills at night, is not fun.) Taking this Echinacea from Nutricost seems much better than the others plus the cost is better plus there's 8 times more in a bottle !!! Thank You Big Time !!!
