is it self defrosting

We have two in our outside kitchen. One does not have a freezer. The second one does have a freezer and is not self defrosting.I would suggest short time use for that freezer.. We use it for company, filled with Ice Cream Bars, etc. It does good for that.Please allow me to add..It was my mistake with counter install. Should have allowed installers to place it more from directsun. This outdoor product does a great job dealing with the temp. changes in our yard.

How much energy does this use per year?

Not alot ... we use it at our seasonal camping site and our monthly electric bill is very low.

If you’re purchasing this as an outdoor fridge you may want to look elsewhere. Mine didn’t last two years. I wish I had taken the time to read all these reviews, many are not good :( That being said, for the short time it actually worked it let things cool at best, never cold. Ever.
